My wife and I stopped by for a gallon of milk. I ran in while my wife sat in the truck with the kids.
I didn't see any prices on the milk, but I grabbed one and took it to the counter. The lady rang up the milk and I was shocked to see it at $5.99 because we normally buy organic milk for only a dollar more. I thought for a moment and decided that I didn't want to pay that much. I told the lady that I wasn't going to get the milk and returned it where I got it from.
While I was returning the milk, my wife (from the truck) observed the lady that was behind the counter give me the middle finger while my back was turned to her. Of course, I didn't see this. I passed her and a man who was cleaning with a broom on my way out and bid them a good day while they just stared at me blankly.
My wife was so upset by the lady's behavior that she got out of the truck to tell me to not purchase anything from them. She met me at the door and told me what she saw. Then the man with the broom hurried over and locked the door.
I'm not sure what prompted such behavior from the lady but we will be rejoicing once they permanently shut their doors, which I'm sure will be soon given their wonderful customer service. Save yourself the time, money, and insult, and buy from one of the other businesses in Havana. read more
