I am 82, short of breath, and standing in lines and walking around is very hard for me. My wait to get to a window was only 10-15 minutes and I had a chair to sit in while I was waiting. Once I got to a window, the DMV rep (Brandon) (who I did not know and had never met before) was extremely courteous and got me a seat near his window while he worked on my case. In about 15 minutes, he completed the paperwork and issued me my new placard...good until June 30, 2025! I was so relieved, comforted and pleased with the great speed, friendly consideration and help that I had experienced! Thank you again CA DMV and representative Brandon! Robert Paul Wilson

Also, my utilities are electronic and they wouldn't even look at my phone, as if I couldn't photoshop an invoice that's printed. Wouldn't verify my WA plate for my vehicle - which can be done online in about 30 seconds with the VIN. REALLY need to get with the current century of technology. It's easy to scam showing a piece of paper - electronic proof from a government agency is certainly more secure.

I tried to pursue the "Conversation" but the site won't allow it. They got me over to their site and it doesn't work either, instead you get to converse with a "Virtual Data Assistant" that ultimately won't help you at all. They don't want to fix the problems, they do want to hold you off. It used to be much faster, but since the computerized ticket system came on line, waiting times have gone through the roof. They really don't give a hoot, and they make providing constructive critic impossible.

An original town in Shasta County…read more This historic park houses the remains of Shasta City, once alive and bustling during the Gold Rush days, and now a ghost town with restored stagecoach, barn and courthouse. Due to Covid-19 the museum is temporarily closed but we stopped and walked among the Southside Ruins, strolling and stopping to read the markers and interpretive signs at the brick ruins, imagining for a moment what it was like in 1849. The authentic brick buildings have crumbled and are the decayed remnants of a once thriving gold rush shopping district. Across the street is an open picnic grounds with lots of picnic benches under shady trees. The park hours sign read: open from Sunrise to Sunset. The temperatures here reached over 100° F this past weekend and is probably like this every summer so take extra water. We did not see the cemetery. We hope to return again someday to explore and learn more. Easy access. The park is six miles west of downtown Redding and Highway 299 passes through the town's Main Street. Review #1910

our dealer sent the original titlework to cvprs in oct 2018 to process a title transfer for our…read morecustomer. in feb 2019 cvprs had lost the titlework causing the dealer to have to apply for a duplicate title. it is now almost june 2019 & we still have not received a perfected title. we ahve sent countless emails to christy & jerikka, left multiple messages & have not received any response. everytime we call for an update, we are told the person is unavailable or out of the office. this is absolutely the worst agency we have ever dealt with & we have told all of our dealers & customers in california not to use their services.
