I quickly learned that there are huge gaps in the level of care that we were used to and what I found here...until I found Primrose. Everyone on staff at Primrose is loving, kind and welcoming. Teachers greet my daughter as we're walking to/from her classroom, even though she hasn't been in their classes. They rave and coo over our baby; somebody is always telling me how wonderful he is:) The teachers in each classroom are attentive and loving. My baby boy had colic and reflux, so he cried a lot until he outgrew it. The teachers were patient and experienced. I felt the love as soon as I walked into his room. Now that he's been there a few months, it's fun to see his eyes light up and his grin when he sees one of his teachers! He has never cried when I leave, which I attribute to how loved he feels in their care. When we moved, our 3 year old daughter's world completely changed. We moved across the country, away from family, friends, and her school. Everything she knew changed. Once she started at Primrose, she started to return to her former happy self. The preschool teachers are amazing. Their structure, love and guidance really helped our daughter adjust quickly. She has learned so many things! I was worried that she would fall behind where she was, but she's in good hands and us doing great. Last week we were at the store and she found a little American flag. She picked it up and recited the Pledge of Allegiance in its entirety...at 3 years old! The administrative staff are great. Any time I have a question, they take the time to answer. You can tell that they enjoy their jobs. Not only do I see how they lovingly treat my children, but I see them treat the other kids with love, too. I can't say enough good things about Primrose at Macland Pointe. My children are precious; they're my world. I know that they're getting the best possible care here.

If I have anything I want to discuss with them, they are very receptive and easy to talk to. I couldn't ask for better teachers for my four-year-old. Tiffany runs the daycare and is just as wonderful as the teachers. Tiffany is always there with a smile and an understanding ear if I need anything. She calls and updates me on everything so I can take advantage of everything necessary. Taylor is also very sweet; she always helps out with the infants. They love her. As you can imagine this involves thorough research and interviews with multiple schools. After visiting five other schools in the area, Primrose of Wade Green was our last stop... literally. We were just amazed with the level of education, service and support that was offered to the children AND the parents. The facility is extremely clean and well kept. I love the fact they start teaching sign language to infants, this really helped our son communicate with us without frustration. For first time parents, they were very helpful, and made us feel very comfortable with a strong sense of security. Also, I have to admit, our child eats better than we do at Primrose of Wade Green. They knock it out of the park when it comes to nutrition, and we receive a weekly menu! One of my favorite perks has to be the surprise emails. Throughout the day, Primrose staff takes many pictures of all the beautiful children and on occasion they email us photos of our child enjoying his day...what a treat! Everyone at Primrose makes an effort to bond with your child and they are determined to make sure the kids are always happy. We really wanted our child's first daycare experience to be a positive one, but unfortunately after…read morewhat we experienced at The Sunshine House it has left me, my husband, and our child traumatized. Our child has severe allergies, therefore we had to provide extensive documentation from her Allergist notating her allergies. We also had to go through an approval process with Corporate to have her food accommodation approved. This process took 2-3 weeks prior to her even starting the daycare. On day two of my daughter being there Neshia, the Director at the facility, called me to verify what my child was allowed to eat. I thought this was strange since I had to provide comprehensive details on what she was allergic to. I reiterated over the phone what my child wasn't allowed to eat. When I picked up my daughter later in the day I found out that even though I verbally told them her allergies and also provided it in writing, they "mistakenly" served her food she was allergic to. Luckily my child is a picky eater and didn't eat the item, which could have been very dangerous. Fast forward two weeks later, I received a call from Neshia telling me there had been an accident and my child was injured at the daycare. I rushed to the facility only to find out that a bottle was dropped on my child's finger and her fingertip was severed so badly it was literally hanging off, or as the ER doctor called it, "partially amputated." As a parent I was mortified by the blood, the extent of the injury, and my child's pain. My poor toddler had to go through the trama of having her finger reattached and put in a cast. When we were looking at daycares in the area, everyone had a 3-4 month waiting list. The Sunshine House was the only daycare that had 3 toddler class openings. Now I understand why they were the only facility with availability. My daughter didn't even last 3 weeks here. The staff at The Sunshine House are the most inept, incompetent staff I've ever met. I would never recommend this daycare to anyone.
