When we went to K Alexander to remodel our kitchen, Tony and Zoey said they could complete the…read moreremodel between Thanksgiving and Christmas 2025. I was nervous and expected it to take longer. S&A Construction did an amazing job and completed construction before Christmas. Every day we walk into our kitchen we feel like it is not our house.

We had to fire our first contractor for a project that involved converting an attached 1 car garage…read moreto become heated living space and put a second floor addition over that garage. We brought S and A in and they got to work pretty quickly. In addition to the work noted above, we also had a covered front porch along the front of the house added along with a new (pavers) sidewalk to replaced the busted up 50 year old concrete with a parking pad adjacent to the street. The HVAC was replaced and upgraded, an outdoor kitchen was added off the back with a new roof and stone work. The old "dutch" roof that came down over the second floor exterior wall was straightened and covered in Hardiplank. There were modifications made, there were some delays with the timing/arrival of materials, but nothing significant. We transformed a 50 year old house by adding 800+ feet of heated living space, a massive covered front porch with lights and fans, and an extremely large (14' x 25") covered outdoor kitchen with lights, fans, a sink, and a gas grill. It looks like a completely different home. Our one massive project was actually 6 big projects rolled up into one. We are quite happy with the results. The complexity and scale of it meant it would not be quick and easy as it involved having to deal with all the 'behind the drywall' infrastructure, electrical, HVAC, gas, and plumbing. All has been completed and we are quite pleased with Ed and his team.

I recently hired Joe for two small jobs at my house. First I had some dry rot in a board beneath my…read moreback door from poor installation years ago and Joe replaced it, as well as fixing an issue with the flashing at the ledger board behind it. I also had him strip and repaint the trim around the side door into my garage (while doing that he also removed some dry rot and sealed everything to prevent any issues in the future). Scheduling was a little rocky due to the snow and weather, but I didn't mind at all because the work was high quality and I'm exceptionally happy with the final product I got! Would happily hire him again in the future!

I contracted Joo to remodel my bathroom and laundry room back in April of 2023. He said he could…read morecomplete the job in 3 weeks. it took nearly 5 months and the work was HORRIBLE. Before I could even enjoy my shower the tile walls started cracking. There was a big hole in one tile that had been filled in with grout to hide. The tiles on the bathroom floors started coming up immediately. There were so many things wrong. I eventually had to hire another contractor to come in and demo EVERYTHING that Joe had done, and redo my entire bathroom again. When the new contractor took out the shower, we found that the pipes had cuts in them and Joe had just covered them up. Everything that Joe did had to be replaced because of the poor installation. I paid him over 28k, and I paid for most of the materials myself. He is very dishonest, and made promises that he NEVER intended to keep. He said he would call me to schedule a meeting to talk about a refund, and he hasn't returned any of my calls, emails or text. if you are considering him for a job, DON'T!!!!! He and his workers who are not licensed, scratched my laminate flooring in 3 rooms. Unfortunately my flooring is no longer available so the rooms would need to be completely replaced. He said he could fix the scratches, but he hasn't. He has no regard for personal property.

He planned out light locations, switches, outlets, outside lights and the panel. He was thorough and even asked about outside outlets which I had totally forgot about. He worked with my HVAC guys to plan out my minisplits and even asked about what appliances I might have to plan dedicated circuits. He was able to run everything in just a few days including trenching an ethernet line from my home. Everything passed inspection the first time and I was able to move on with my project. I can't recommend him enough.

This man was the only one who responded, and he was very polite and helpful. He advised me to use one side panel screen instead of building a whole closet because there was an AC duct at the bottom and building a closet will interfere with air circulation and cause tremendous problems. His advice was invaluable and extremely useful. I'm new to the USA and didn't even know that such panel screens exist. He saved me time and money. I recommend this business to everyone.
