I had MSC put in this retaining wall for me, but it has not been a pleasant experience. I received a quote for the work to be done, but everything that was to be included was an additional charge. I wanted some specific stone for the wall, which I was told was not a problem to get. Then tells me there is an additional $2700 for obtaining the 100 linear feet of wall. I obtained the stone for $560 myself. This project was started in April and it was not finished until November. Not a big enough job to make a priority. When they poured the cement it was splashed all,over my sidewalk, patio and house. I had to clean myself, the workers didn't think it was important enough to clean their mess. Less than a year later the stone is now coming off the wall. Again not a priority for MSC. Called in the summer to have them repair it. And was told they would do it in the fall. Needless to say they never showed up. Called again and too many other priorities. This time I was told maybe in March, but don't have much faith they will show up. I am also told, the stone is coming off because it was hit by a garden tractor. If the landscaping along the wall was completed as it should have been this would not occur. But some of this stone was not set properly and the reason for it coming off and not due to other factors. I would not recommend MSC as they don't stand behind what they have quoted or the work they do read more

We recently purchased a lake house on Lake Livingston that needed some TLC and MSC Landscaping helped make that happen. We had Manny and his crew install a new sprinkler system, build an outdoor firepit, lay grass in the front yard and part of the back, rip out and replace part of the bulkhead by our boathouse and rebuild a beautiful wood deck and cement patio. They are hardworking and very professional. They take pride in their work and pay attention to detail. We enjoyed working with this company and would recommend them to anyone. I've dealt with Manny for several years and always thought he was a good guy until now. I contracted with him for a sprinkler system and we agreed in writing on a price. Both he and I were present during the install and he never once said anything about the final price was going to be more. Not once. After he finished the job he came by to collect the balance and that's when he dropped the bomb that he needed $800 more than we agreed upon for "extra work" he had to do!! Again, not once did he mention this during the install. After some discussion he said to drop it to $500 extra. I was not feeling well at the time and just wrote him a check to get rid of him. This is not the way to do business. I will never use him again for ANYTHING and I will never recommend his company ever again. He's not the honorable guy I thought he was! read more

This company is fixing my drainage problems in my back yard. They laid a French drain, fill dirt, and grass comes Monday. They even filled in along my bulkhead(without being asked). The crew did a good clean up after they finished today. Very good work, professional and fast. They are also cutting my grass on weekly basis..today they were here at 8:30 and did a great job.
