Our son who is new to FISD is struggling with math and focus. Within a short time, a tutor was assigned. JaMaya, our son's tutor is kind, gentle, and attuned. She notices when our son needs redirection or mental breaks. She is patient with teaching and comes to his level. She tries out different strategies in her teaching to ensure he gets the concepts. Tutor Doctor has also been diligent in communicating session updates and overall tutoring direction. We have had two sessions so far and are pleased with their service.

In less than a year, we've seen our 3rd grader go from a Pre-K reading level to now nearly his grade level. He now has the tools to work through his ongoing challenges with reading. The lexercise program is a good mix of practice, repetition, games, and rewards, but the real secret has been Amanda. Her patient, caring, motivating approach has made such a huge impact in our son. She is simply amazing!

My older son was able to make it to GT program all because of her guidance and attention. She understands and assesses the kids strength and weaknesses very well. Her homework is well balanced unlike the big institutions which demotivate the kids due to the shear amount which is not necessary for the kids.
