Kia is a Vivid Hair Specialist who has transformed my hair from its natural brown to teal, then pink with extensions, and now purple with a silver money piece! She's super sweet, and she's always been very realistic with me about what kind of maintenance certain colors or cuts need. (Despite how it may seem, I like low maintenance even though I still want fun colors.) For the time and service she provides, her rates are very reasonable. I've looked forward to every visit with her, and I feel like my self-confidence has grown not just because of my beautiful hair but also because of her positive and empowering outlook! Ariel is an amazing nail artist! I was never one to get my nails done regularly (low maintenance, like I wrote), but when I was getting my hair done, I'd see Kia's nails (always done by Ariel), and they were literally fantastic. So I gave it a whirl and got some fancy nails for a business trip. And then I asked for some fun nails for a wedding. The more I visited the salon, the more I enjoyed the ladies that worked there and the energy that I felt, and the more I wanted to come back. Now I come every 4 weeks for Ariel to do my nails. Each time I come with an idea or inspiration from Instagram, and Ariel makes magic. She's a true artist! I've never had her repeat a design in the nearly 2 years I've been going, and she's never once told me she wasn't capable of doing something I asked for. Even when I've arrived late (more often than I care to admit), she's been wonderfully kind and patient with me. Between these two wonderful ladies, I feel more beautiful and feminine than ever. My experience was a 10/10. I'll share more below :) What brought me to Taylor was the fact that my long term stylist had retired suddenly. Sadly I wasn't able to get my original color numbers from that stylist and had the stress of looking for a new hairdresser. Finding a hairstylist in Camarillo was initially rougher than I imagined - so many salons either didn't return my calls or were charging double what my old stylist did. I am so lucky I found Taylor through a mutual friend who is a client of hers and by chance this salon is also in my neighborhood. When I reached out to Taylor on social media she immediately responded. She was so sweet and helpful navigating my questions and made me feel confident that she could mirror the coloring and styling that my old hairdresser did. Taylor also could book me within two weeks AND was the MOST affordable compared to everyone else I spoke to at other salons. Walking into Le Tress Couture salon I felt right at home. The salon itself is darling, super fun - glamorous - yet professional. I was immediately offered water or a mimosa upon walking in. Taylor made me feel like I had known her forever and is beautiful inside and out, I felt so comfortable which is a big deal for me. Taylor is a Pro because I gave her one tiny photo to go off of for my old hair color and ombré effect and she nailed it! Like literally I still can't believe it. Do you know how hard it is to recreate a hair color off an old small photo? But Taylor did it - just shows you how good at the hair arts she is. Taylor really brought my hair back to life and all of my friends were impressed when they saw it. She nailed it and the salon was so cute inside. Loved the girly vibes of everyone just getting along and customers chatting, it's a place you don't mind sitting for an hour or two because it feels like a treat. Again, reasonably priced salon with A+ stylists like Taylor here. I'd highly recommend her and definitely have a new local stylist that I love. I'm already booked with her to be back soon. Next time I promise to take some pictures of the salon itself and update them here with my review. But trust me it's a cute place. Also pro tip they also do facials and have an esthetician here. The prices for facials here on their menu board looked super reasonable and I'm definitely going to come back for a facial in the future. Also she told me it was $85 to get a partial highlight. And $20 extra for medium hair length blowout. I was like this is a steal. Although I was a little skeptical at first when I first asked her if she thinks she could do my hair a cool blonde. I have gotten my hair done a significant amount of times so it was already pretty lifted. She told me over text that she THINKS she can , and it depends and she is going to take a look at it. Now I understand that some hair is difficult to lift than other hair but that message didn't give me confidence to want to go in there because i've never heard that before. She also gas been in the hair business for a significant amount of years so I thought she probably would have figured out how to do blonde hair by now.. I'm sitting in the chair chatting it up with her noticing she's really nice and friendly. She proceeded to ask me how long my hair normally sits with foils in it like I was supposed to know? And she is talking about how blondes are all trial and error. I was starting to get nervous. We go rinse and start blow drying I feel great. Color looks amazing and very cool toned like I wanted it. Except the hair on top turns out purple, my hair on top is literally purple and she asked me if I wanted to just leave it and it will come out after a couple washes. I told her no I don't want purple hair and she was understanding and fixed it. After this, the purple came out (for the most part) there was still a teensy bit on top that she failed to mention the 2nd time. But I ignored it because I respect her time. But minus the purple I loved the color a lot after wash and the blowout looked amazing. We get to the end and somehow the total comes out to be $145. Now with the blowout the price should have only been $115. I don't know what else I was charged for and I didn't ask I just went with it because I felt bad. She should have said something about it? Why there was $30 extra? Im not sure.. but overall walking out of here I felt great and very beautiful but there were just a few feelings that I have never felt before in the salon. I've never felt nervous and no hair stylist has ever made me feel that way. Overall my hair looks good and I'm happy it was just a different experience.

I thought....wait, that's what my hair looks like from behind? I never look at myself from behind and I allow it to rough dry a lot so it's kinda messy looking. Turns out...it was broken off in a big chunk in the back. I had no idea. I knew I had some damage but not an entire hole . I booked a consultation and elena spent an hour with me going over my options. Today I went in and she gave me beautiful color with no further damage AND extensions to fill in the hole created by all the breakage. She is thoughtful in her work and gives you her full attention.
