The young girl kept asking me while i was trying to talk , WHAT KIND. I finally said sorry i didn't realize i didn't say what flavor. She was rude and when i went to my car with my cone she stared at me still taking about about me. I could read lips. Rude, i've been coming to JJ's since the 80's my Dad took us. I left the parking lot before i finished my cone because she was still looking at me. Find better help please. I work in customer service as account manager for over 30 years , she needs training. We finished ordering and sat down to wait for our food. A few minutes later the woman who took our order came to our table and said "You ordered truffle fries, correct?" To which we answered yes. She then said "well, truffle fries are $4 extra and I only charged you for regular, you'll need to pay $4 more if you still want them." We paid the extra, but I felt like the cost should have been eaten by them since they screwed up.

I spotted several Dave's Hot Chicken "Now Open" lawn signs near Amsterdam HS. As expected, there was a long line from the door to the registers. I ordered my favorite #2 Combo, 2 Sliders (Medium spiciness) & Fries ($14.99 plus tax) and a side of Mac & Cheese ($3.79 plus tax). They call your number when your order is ready. It took 15 minutes after ordering for my order to be packed and ready. The sliders had very crisp thick chicken tenders, slaw, pickles & orange sauce on soft buns were very good. The chicken tenders were crispy outside which had a sweet flavor, then medium hot taste! The crinkle cut fries were golden fried and firm. Dill pickle chips and tangy orange dipping sauce was included with the box of food. The Mac & Cheese had soft macaroni and orange cheese sauce, which I dipped the crinkle cut fries into for cheese fries. This place lived up to the hype IMO. I would recommend this place if you love to eat spicy hot chicken and fries. Still crossing my fingers, as they expand and open more locations including in Portsmouth NH, hopefully more in NH in the near future.
