Our server took her time to explain to us the menu and experience at Waffle-era, including suggestions for pairing waffles and teas. You can add alcohol to any tea or coffee or juice drink on the menu, which was really cool. She and the team were very accommodating about splitting the bill a certain way, making sure to clarify any allergies or preferences, and making sure we all got our food. I had the half Tauras (savory) and half Queso del Pais (sweet) waffles with a regular latte. The Tauras was delicious! Loved the soft goat cheese and savory pesto and balsamic. The Queso del Pais was a local specialty I wanted to try (with torched white cheese and guava paste) and it was really interesting - worth it. The coffee was good and the rest of the group was pretty happy with their waffles, although the restaurant ran out of pesto and several of the group had to replace it with balsamic or chipotle sauce.
