I live in Denver, 820 miles away from a 5-acre ranch in Montana that belonged to my wife's parents. After they passed, I became the one managing the property--and every trip up there is emotionally and logistically overwhelming. On one visit, I loaded my Jeep with old electronics--CRT TVs, surveillance gear, laptops--and headed into Great Falls. That's when I met Matt at Mr. T's. I blew a tire right in front of his shop, and without hesitation, he helped me unload everything and swap the tire so I could get to a nearby shop--right across the street from where my wife's grandfather used to run Bud Hayes Auto Service. I still have one of his old promo keychains. That moment hit me hard. Matt didn't just take the tech--he took a weight off my shoulders. He recovered data from six old laptops and mailed me an external hard drive shaped like a cassette tape. That detail alone told me everything I needed to know: this guy cares. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. I would give zero stars if I could. From the moment I walked in, this place was completely unprofessional. The owner was actively yelling and cussing at other customers while I was there, which should've been my first sign to leave. It only got worse. After waiting over 4 months for a MacBook screen repair (dropped off around December 19-22), I finally got it back--only to be told that he installed a cracked screen because we supposedly "rushed him." That's not an excuse, that's just unacceptable. Between the disrespectful behavior, lack of accountability, and ridiculously long turnaround time, this place should not be in business. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. read more

after 5 weeks making excuses my cell phone was not repaired, when i picked it up they would not give even a partial refund of my $100, when i took it to a reliable repair shop he discovered missing pieces , pieces of some one elses phone, the battery was missing, and they had charged me for an incorrect cheap, knock off screen. the nice person who fixed it had it done in 3 days, it would have been done immediatley but he had to order the missing pieces that mr.ts had lost. don't waste your time or money. read more

I am Charles Smith these reviews just apply any name they want but not this time, I AM CHARLES SMITH!!! And thanks again Matt and crew! I just got everything from Matt yesterday and it was all I could hope for. Learned some lessons and so forth to not having another breakdown that could have been avoided. I have went to Matt's businesses for a few years now and he is up on most everything where as a lot of computer and electronic repair shops arent as diversified. I believe that is mostly because of the age of things he will accept to work on and also items that maybe no one else would even attempt to fix. He goes along way to get things done for people at least for me and consider Matt and his crew that I never met before, as my friends. I ended up having to get a new computer but I havent had a new one for quite a number of years so might not see them as much at the store. Thanks again Matt and crew! read more

In talking with Tom I asked him for quote and he gave me a price of $45.To give me a quote without first visiting my location indicated to me that Tom had supreme confidence in his abilities. Over the phone and in person Tom has an upbeat cheerful personality and he made me feel completely at ease. He arrived promptly on time in his hailageek van at 2:00 p.m. Upon sitting down and making a cursory examination he said he could fix the problem in 2 minutes but that he wanted to spend more time and give me a more extensive and complete printer connectivity. I sat beside him as he nimbly did the work - he obviously knew what he was doing. Tom is a founder/partner in HailAGeek which has 17 locations in the Houston area. It was altogether a pleasant experience and I highly recommend HailAGeek. I was impressed that HailAGeek/Tom heard would give me a specific quote over the phone. Other providers I contacted would only quote an hourly rate [ mostly a minimum of $95 ] without asking or going into the specifics of my problem.
