Dynamite Roll

They forgot and left off multiple items that we paid more for. The sushi was absolutely disgusting and we couldn't even finish it. The roll was supposed to have yellow tail but tasted super fishy so I opened up the roll and this was the "yellowtail." Absolutely ridiculous

Not sure why this place gets such bad reviews. I have come here about a dozen times and the food has been very consistent. I usually get the Hawaiian roll and the teriyaki chicken with white rice. No complaints as the food is what you would get at any other fast food teriyaki joint; teriyaki chicken and rice is pretty standard in California and the quality is good, it just tastes a little different than on the west coast. But there sushi is good, no complaints there either. Give them a try, for the price point and the convenience, no complaints here.

I've been wanting some chicken teriyaki so I scoured Yelp and google for a spot close to NAS Pensacola to satisfy my insatiable craving. Came across Mr Teriyaki and browsed the reviews. Pretty mixed - seems like folks either love it or hate it. It's conveniently located right off base and has ample parking. Decided to walk in and ask for a take out menu to look over the food in the car before committing. Walked in. Man, it's rough in there. Looks dirty and cluttered, has a very strange smell, but the staff is really nice. Decided to take a menu, decided to go ahead and order for take out. Wait wasn't all that bad - maybe 20-25 minutes? Ordered teriyaki chicken with white rice and extra chicken, a rainbow roll, a cowboy roll, and some cream cheese wontons. Food ended up being DELICIOUS. Like if I hadn't known where it had come from, I'd think it was from a really nice teriyaki restaurant in the city. Bottom line... order take out (don't sit in, don't bother with delivery - the staff is VERY small). The restaurant itself is unappealing, but the food is fantastic. Will definitely be back!

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE VIA THIS WEBSITE!!!!! This review is in regard to the website, not the restaurant. The website below DOES NOT belong to Mr. Teriyaki. https://ordermrteriyaki.com/location/mr.teriyaki-41-s-navy-blvd-fl-pensacola-32507 I ordered via this website last night and as the pick up time seemed very long, I called the restaurant to inquire about the validity of the time. They asked how I ordered and I told them via their website. They stated to me that this website is NOT theirs. The explanation I received was that the owner of this site took their menu information and created a website. They receive the order and then call the restaurant to place the order. The restaurant literally gets a call from someone and they place the order over the phone. In turn they charge a much higher price for the food ordered. Ultimately, we paid more for our order than we should have. Per the restaurant, our order total was $47, however, we paid $62 online. Then I receive a confirmation email and the total shows $72. The payment is pending on my card as of this morning, so I am not sure if it was actually be the $62 or $72 that comes out of my account. However, the restaurant will only get the $47 and they stated that they don't even get that until the end of the week. Ultimately, they do get paid, but the customer get scammed out of the extra cost. There is no way to contact the actual owner of the website. All contact info listed is for the restaurant and they clearly state that there's nothing they can do. Even if you cancel the "online order" and re-order over the phone, there's no way to get your money back from the online order. Hopefully this will stop anyone else from getting scammed. The restaurant also told me that they have tried multiple times to have the site removed, however, nothing has worked. CALL the restaurant at 850-455-9918 to place your order!

Rolling up to the restaurant you think the place might be closed. But don't be deceived it is open! The server was very nice and constantly kept our water cups full. My friend got the lunch special and I got the bento (the lunch special is definitely worth the money). The place is called Mr. Teriyaki for a reason, and they make some bomb teriyaki chicken. The sides and California roll were pretty good, but the chicken was definitely the best thing. If you come here, get one of the specials or the teriyaki chicken, you won't be disappointed.

I've been meaning to try this place since it opened and decided to check it out for my birthday…read moredinner this year. Four of us went and we all enjoyed it. Our waitress was incredible, very knowledgeable and patient with my families questions about the menu. She made the experience that much better! Food wise we had: -seaweed salad (standard but yummy, 7/10) -spicy cucumber salad (a table favorite, 9/10) -potstickers (another favorite, my niece is ready to return for these alone! 10/10) -chicken clay pot with rice (really good, but I wish there was some veg in there or something? Kind of one note, but still tasty. 7/10) -short rib clay pot (I didn't try this but my sister enjoyed it, 7/10) -Panang curry (a go to favorite, my niece is very happy to have another place in town to get it! She gave it a 10/10, I give it an 8. It was a little fishy for me and I prefer more liquid.) -eggplant in garlic sauce (this was a mixed reaction. My mom ordered it upon the waitresses advice that it wasn't too spicy but it actually ended up being too spicy for her to eat. I enjoyed it a lot though the texture of the eggplant was perfect and the flavors were very well balanced although it was the spiciest thing we had.8/10) -creme brulee milk tea with tapioca (I love boba but this was kind of boring.6/10) -cotton candy milk tea with rainbow jelly (14/10, the best I've ever had I think. We will come back for this again and again.!) Overall it was a really great experience and the pricing was quite reasonable, we got all that plus a couple sodas for $108 before the tip. The atmosphere is good, well lit, roomy booths, very clean and we liked the music.

Easy parking, cool vibes, great service, and I would say I don't doubt that Xian Noodle Place is…read moreone of the best if not the best Chinese spot in Pensacola. However, in writing this review, I have to compare to spots I've ranked with however many stars, which includes different spots around the country, and when compared to the rest of the field, the ballgame's a bit different. First off, I'm grateful Pensacola has Xian Noodle Place. There clearly aren't that many options here when it comes to authentic Chinese food (I was trying hard to find a place when I landed at the airport). When I walked in, the service was friendly and seating was immediate. There is a bar area and there is a large seating area. Trendy remixes of Chinese pop hits from years past were being played. This all is super cool. As people know from my past reviews, beef noodle soup is a big factor in my judging. And I saw beef noodle soup options on the menu here and asked about them, because I want to make sure I'm getting what I'm wanting here. I'll give credit to the server - she was completely honest that the flavoring of the beef noodle soup wasn't the hearty richly-seasoned version known in Taiwanese circles. So I ordered the roast duck noodle soup and soup dumplings instead. The roast duck noodle soup is absolutely solid. It does the trick. The broth is a basic chicken broth, noodles are fine, and the duck is plentiful, as one would expect. Good garnish, it's tasty and does the trick. The soup dumplings, I would say, are perhaps not what you would get at an establishment that makes their own. Again, it's tasty and does the trick, but likely about the same as if you went to your local Chinese supermarket and bought the soup dumplings from the frozen section and then prepped it at home. Total price after taxes and standard tip? Over $30. One person, one normally-sized bowl of duck soup noodles and five soup dumplings with sauce. I know Miami is extremely pricey for food, so perhaps this is a Florida thing, but $30 is a bit exorbitant for food that does the trick but isn't quite spectacular. Again, I'm sure there are other options here that are tasty, but considering the different factors, when comparing to others in the game beyond Pensacola, the bottom line is I'd say Xian Noodle Place is solid but not spectacular, and also fairly pricey for the level of food served.

Here is the completed review with your additional details incorporated:…read more I recently visited **Kalbi Ichiban** in Pensacola, Florida, located in the area of town where I grew up. It was good to return to familiar surroundings and find a restaurant offering a different dining experience. The interior is attractive, clean, and inviting. The restaurant also offers Korean barbecue, with tabletop grills built into several booths. It is a nice option for families, groups, or anyone interested in a more interactive meal. I went specifically looking for authentic Korean food. Having experienced Bulgogi while serving in Korea, it quickly became one of my favorite dishes. Most chain restaurants do not do the dish particularly well, so I decided to give Kalbi Ichiban's version a try. My waiter, **Carson**, was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout the meal. He checked on me regularly without being intrusive and made the overall experience even better. Carson receives five stars from me. The meal came with Bulgogi, rice, and a choice of soup or salad. I selected fried rice and started with the hot and sour soup. I also ordered a side of kimchi because, in my opinion, a Korean meal is not complete without it. The hot and sour soup was excellent. It had great flavor, was well prepared, and was easily one of the highlights of the meal. The fried rice was good, although nothing about it particularly stood out. The Bulgogi was tender and very flavorful, but it was wetter than traditional Bulgogi. Authentic Bulgogi is normally much drier, with the marinade cooked into the meat rather than leaving it with a gravy-like consistency. Even with that difference, the flavor was enjoyable. The kimchi was also very good and added the right touch to the meal. Interestingly, the hot and sour soup was spicier than the kimchi. However, different regions of Korea prepare kimchi in different ways, so the level of heat and flavor can vary considerably. Overall, I was pleased with the meal and would rate the food **8.5 out of 10**. After adding a couple of cocktails, I was also pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the final bill was. I would rate the restaurant **two dollar signs out of five for price**, making it a good value for the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere. Kalbi Ichiban may not serve Bulgogi exactly as I remember it from Korea, but it delivered a flavorful and satisfying meal. Combined with Carson's excellent service, the inviting atmosphere, and reasonable prices, it was an enjoyable dining experience and a restaurant I would visit again.
