I came by today to buy cigarettes & saw the sign saying that you are going to start charging 4% for…read morecredit & debit card purchases. I usually spend about $300 to $400 or more a month at your store. I am not happy that I will be charged 4% for the convenience of using a card. if you choose to keep this fee in place I will be forced to go somewhere else to get my cigarettes. As will many others, this will lose you money in the long run. If it's that expensive for you to have a credit card machine then it's time you upgraded to a better & cheaper company than you currently have. This ridiculous policy will make u lose many customers. I use your store because it is less than a mile from my home, and your prices are great. Cigarettes are breaking the bank as it is, but it would cost me less to drive somewhere else to buy cigarettes than it would to be charged 4% on top of the cost of the cigarettes. Please take a long hard look at this policy & hopefully you come to your senses and choose to NOT charge me more than it already cost me. I will give you a five star rating because your staff is amazing & knows my order before I walk in the door. But if u keep this policy I will be forced to change it to a one star rating.

Oak Grove Pharmacy is a small, independent pharmacy. Unlike the larger chain pharmacies, the folks…read moreat Oak Grove Pharmacy will greet you by name and give you personalized service. I can't comment on the cost of a smaller pharmacy versus the larger ones, aside from the fact that with my insurance the cost is the same regardless of where I go. I'd rather do business with a smaller pharmacy that knows my name rather than be treated like a number at a larger pharmacy. Have you ever dropped off a prescription to be refilled at a large pharmacy and told it will take a half hour to get it filled? Not so at Oak Grove Pharmacy - they'll have it ready for you in a jiffy.

I Recently had a health scare that led me to the ER and to a dx of high blood pressure and the ER docs sent my RX's over electronically, Not knowing that they closed at noon on Saturday. I left a message on their FB page and Trent (owner) came in after hours to make sure I had my meds that I needed and my co-pay on all 3 RX was only $8.07 so it's not like he made a lot $ from me that day either. Love this pharmacy!

Whenever I can I like to shop local, but not *being* a local myself that can get tricky. I'm so grateful to the other yelp reviews for pointing me at Curly Willow Designs, though. I feel confident not only in giving my credit card information over the phone sight unseen, but that Curly Willow will send them something lovely, and even though it won't make her pain any less painful at least I feel like I've done something to make this time a little less dark.
