When Poppy's Irrigation crew arrived, they found that the contractor had cut through the main irrigation line of my sprinkler system and destroyed a rotor. They replaced them at a reasonable cost I submitted the invoice and their explanatory email to my contractor and was reimbursed for the cost of repairs. Prior to last year's tornado I had hired Poppy irrigation system to perform sprinkler system maintenance. They reconnected the RPZ valve and checked each sprinkler head to ensure that there were no broken parts, and that they were appropriately positioned. I would recommend them.

The…read morecompany has highly-skilled, highly-experienced employees along with the right equipment to complete any tree removal project. They recently cut down an oak tree for us that was dead, probably 120 years old and only about six feet from our house. Five men worked two eight-hour days to get the tree down safely with no damage to the house. Frankly, it was a bit of a nightmare challenge but they took it slow and methodical and came up with a well-thought-out strategy utilizing the company's "over-center" aerial bucket that reached about 35 feet from the street to the tree. This was the last tree on our property so there were no other trees they could tie-off to that would facilitate the branches being lowered to the ground. Still the crew, with a climber some 50 feet up, brought the branches and eventually the trunk down safely. The company had other equipment available that they were not able to use because of the topography of the worksite. I used to sell truck-mounted equipment like the kind Giraffe has so I've dealt with tree-trimming companies pretty extensively in the past. But never have I seen such a company so well equipped to do the work so safely and efficiently. The owner, Dean Goodson, is hands-on and oversees every job they perform. Unlike other florists we interviewed, Dale was more about our daughter's vision, not his own, and was such a kind and calming force to work with. He put our minds at ease and worked within our limited floral budget to create a magical white wonderland for their special day. We asked for simple greens and candles in the chapel, so the wedding took center stage instead of the floral. The reception hall at Legacy Acres is a large space but he filled it beautifully with lush large arrangements that were a sight to behold.
