We were able to pull over and safely put on a spare and saw that Greenport Tire was just 1 mile away. We ventured over and spoke with the tire serviceman. He dropped what he was doing to help us. He inspected the damaged tire and felt it was repairable. After it was fixed and checked to see if it would hold pressure, he removed the spare and installed the repaired tire. We were back on the road in about 30 minutes. The charge was a modest $30, and we gave him a nice tip. We had a long drive back to NH, and I was relieved to do not have to do it on a spare tire. He had not done any of the work she requested on the vehicle and told her he did not have time to do the work on it that day. She says he got very aggressive with her when she questioned the charge. Agree with other reviewers here who say this fellow "fleeces you depending on your level of car knowledge and whether or not you live in the area. Ridiculously overpriced... greedy, unhelpful." The driver charged $350.00 for a 10 minute job. My friend offered to pay by credit card but the driver insisted on cash and followed my friend to the bank. My friend asked if there was some kind of veteran discount and explained that he is a wounded combat veteran. The driver and the owner who I called later DID NOT CARE. They're just about money. I truly hope there is such a thing as Karma and they pay for how they treat people. Another friend broke down just three blocks from their shop. They charged $1,500.00 to tow the truck three blocks. They said it was because my friend could not get a ride to pick up the car for a couple of days. Please, spread the word and find someone else if you need any work done on your car or need a tow.

One major problem... there was no vehicle for me and the staff blamed me for not calling to confirm... REALLY?!?!? There was a phone call to me, which I returned TWICE. One time I left a message confirming the vehicle and the other time the voicemail was full. The day after my calls, I received the second of two emails with confirmation numbers on them. I arrived as planned and NO VEHICLE. The staff was not only rude, but did nothing to apologize or try to get me another vehicle with someone else. They blamed me for not confirming the vehicle. I finally left after pleading my case for 15 minutes. I played the voicemail I received and showed them the two calls. I returned to them I can see they were getting aggravated with me once I told them it's all on tape. They were directed to stop talking by one of the workers behind the desk. In short, I was told that two email confirmations with confirmation numbers doesn't mean anything because it didn't come from a phone call. HELLO?!?!?! THIS IS 2025! Unbelievable. And yes, I waited two days to write this review so I could digest what actually happened. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
