Now like almost every small town in Saskatchewan this restaurant which is under new ownership is Chinese food. And of the 6 Chinese restaurants I ate at on my four day trip, the St. Brieux Cafe had the best food of them all. I was most impressed with the quality of the food, the size of the portions and I am still eating leftover takeaways. I had the won ton soup, lots of fresh veggies and the won tons themselves were excellent. Then I had the breaded pork and it was super and a giant serving. The only thing I missed was hot and sour soup and for some reason a lot of the small Chinese restaurants in Sask do not offer it. The menu at so many of these places all seem to morph into being all the same. I judge a lot of Chinese restaurants on the quality of the hot and sour soup.
