I had received no notice, confirmation, or prior communication from Servpro or anyone else involved in the project indicating that a plumber was scheduled to arrive today. Let me be clear: He did knock on the door, but he did not ring the doorbell, which would have triggered my security system notification. When no one answered, he proceeded to let himself into my home without consent. My 19-year-old daughter was home and asleep in her bedroom, unaware that a stranger had entered the house. When I questioned him, he stated: "This is my fourth house today--I don't even remember," and admitted he didn't see a doorbell, even though he previously claimed he knocked AND rang the bell. When I called ServPro, they confirmed they were also not informed of his scheduled visit. This is an unacceptable breach of safety, privacy, and protocol. No individual should be entering a home without explicit permission, especially when no notice has been given to the homeowner or the rebuild team coordinating the project. The fact that someone was already inside my home when I returned--with no explanation--was both alarming and distressing.

Called for service on a Rinnai Tankless Water Heater - the tech within the first…read more5 minutes suggested a full replacement before evaluating the error codes ??????: Charged $325.00 for Diagnostic /Investigate service. The tech had to call Rinnai to determine the cause which in the end was not correct. The tech gave me the part # and then stated the owner did not want to repair it. I order the new mother board for 200.00 and installed it myself in less than 20 minutes. The issue resumed after the board was replaced. I called Okaloosa Gas company who came out and determined the unit was functioning, however the display inside had a short in the CAT5 wiring causing the error code and was causing it to return back to the 104 degree setting. Cost for that amazing expert from Okaloosa Gas to fix it was 75.00. Yes $75.00 and he did not need to call Rinnai for help. Days later - Frank Wood & Son Plumbing sent me an estimate for a replacement. $3,650.00. Wondering if there was a tech contest to see how many tankless water heaters they could sell in the month of March. Lesson learned call your gas company!
