My husband and I were traveling from out of state to buy land and purchase a home. We should have…read morebought elsewhere. We already owned land and had be pre-approved when we came to make a purchase. I set an appointment in advance, confirmed it in advance, and then showed up to "oh, you're here, didn't know you were coming." I should have left right then. I continued on, and then there was poor communication as to when the home would be ready. January became Feb, and then told March 1st. We were moving from Iowa to Florida-- selling two homes. Got down here and was thankful that a friend allowed us to live with him for TWO months! It was so much fun to move two trucks into two storage units and then move it all again. We finally got power mid-May and was able to move in. Texture overspray everywhere, paint everywhere. We had to use a razor and chemicals to scrape the film off all the windows. Broken bath mirror, two windows that only open 20% due to poor workmanship, bathroom outlets and kitchen lights not wired in, piece of siding missing, chips on the edges of the countertop, appliances in place but not hooked up, a shower wall that is crooked so our shower door meets at the bottom and has over an inch gap at the top!! Never had a walk-through. Over 15 calls and emails and pics later, sometimes a person will pick up, and then they pull up the info. I sent only to let me know someone will call to set up time/visit to fix things. These things were under warranty. 16 months later, and still nothing. We have been fixing our own home since clearly Prestige/ Nobility have no integrity. I feel we are owed a $10,000. check because that is what it would cost us to have someone come fix the issues. "It's the trailer business." Is a bull-shit excuse. DO NOT BUY HERE!

We purchased a Jacobsen Home from CCs. The home is perfectly fine, but the customer service from…read moreCCs is soooo lacking. When we signed the original contract, we specifically requested that the tongues be taken away and NOT left under the house. Guess where they are? Yep, you guessed it. To make this situation even better, we requested that the access door be placed on one of the long sides of the house so that, when someone had to go under the house to do work, the person would not have to crawl over the tongues. And where is the access door? Exactly where we said to NOT put it. I even sent pictures! The contractor who put up our front steps installed them off center, and they are putting pressure on the door frame. One side of the frame was broken during installation of the steps, and I am afraid that, with the pressure from the steps, the other side will crack/break. Our contract included outdoor faucets - one in the front of the house and one in the back. The drops are there, but the faucets are not. We signed the loan documents in June with the understanding that CCs would fix these issues, and here we are 6 months later with our issues unresolved. Communication is sketchy, at best. Emails and text messages go unanswered. Phone calls are rarely successful, but when no one answers, I cannot leave a message because the mailbox is full. Honestly, what business lets their voice mailbox fill up? (Also still waiting to hear from them that someone has gone out to replace the siding that blew off in a recent high wind - for the second time.) In the long run, I am happy with my Jacobsen Home, but I would drive to the next dealer if I had to do it all over again. Beginning the process of filing a complaint with the State of Florida to see if I can get my issues resolved. Take your business elsewhere!

I ordered a home from them and after a year had to pay $2300 to the mortgage company to "unwind" the deal and release my property. They could never provide me with a date for delivery after telling me originally 6 months. They WILL NOT reply to email and rarely answer the phone.
