Iroquois is about a 20-minute drive for us. I wanted to see the place before ordering; that way we can smell pizza cooking, decide on wings flavouring, and generally be nosy!! We ended up ordering a large 3-topping pizza special, which comes with 2lbs of wings. We were able to get 2 different flavours, both of them house specials - one was a rub, and the other like a BBQ sauce. I've gotta say that everything was delicious! I wish we had been able to sit in to eat, but it's takeout only. Currently they can no longer take credit or debit; it's cash only. I'm sorry to see they are closing, as I'd go back if I could! The deposit required was 50%, but they paid 90% upfront to finalize plans. A month before the wedding, they reached out to confirm details and received no response. When the owner finally replied, she stated she was "busy" and later added unexpected charges for delivery and setup -- costs that were not disclosed in the original quote. Understandably, this caused stress for the couple, who had already budgeted based on the original agreement. When they asked for a breakdown of what had already been paid for, the owner responded rudely, saying it would take her "hours" to prepare and refused to provide clear answers. When the groom attempted to resolve the matter in person, the owner raised her voice, used inappropriate language, and refused to offer either a compromise or refund. She also told them it was "on them" to figure out how to get the food on their wedding day if they did not want to pay the additional fees. On the day of the wedding, my husband volunteered to pick up the food so the couple wouldn't have to worry. Despite paying the remaining balance plus gratuity, he was left to load 10 pizzas and 12 trays of food by himself, without assistance -- as the owner and staff would not even have the decency to hold the door open. The food was delivered and had to be warmed up before it was even served at the venue. Thankfully, the wedding crew pulled this off for the newlyweds! This experience was unprofessional, disrespectful, and deeply disappointing, especially for such an important occasion. I cannot recommend this business for catering, events, or even casual dining. Transparency, professionalism, and basic courtesy should be the standard, especially in hospitality -- unfortunately, this establishment showed none of these qualities. While I love to support local, choose yourself a business that is professional and has the compassion to work with you, one that is respectful and honest!

There it was in a very sweet little old house "Mountain Station". Although I felt a tiny-bit apprehensive at first it was all for nothing, as soon as we walked through the door my mood was lifted. Although it is a take-out place we did spot that sweet little table, in the corner, and asked if we could park-ourselves to enjoy some pizza before hitting the road. We dug-into this fantastic pizza, perfectly seasoned sauce, crispy but fluffy-crust, piled-high fresh-cut ingredients and loads of cheese!! While we ate we enjoyed the owner's company and his absolutely incredible stories. He has so many wonderful stories that we sat there a good hour or more just to chat. The food, the eclectic surroundings and this delightful, charismatic man was totally all worth the drive and the dollars. We really didn't want to leave but had to as we needed to get somewhere.
