Kent was onsite for days, painting coat after coat, into every nook and cranny, beautiful coverage. And Okko methodically removed all door fronts, hinges, pulls, and closers (and put them back in the EXACT same places), before taking the fronts offsite for catalytic lacquer spraying. The finish on the doors is perfection, with a subtle sheen and smooth surface - I didn't know it was possible to get old doors looking so amazing, and there's no way that could have been achieved with onsite spraying. The process is an initial quote on photos, if interested then a followup in-person visit by Okko, door removal and spraying by Okko, onsite painting by Kent (fairly high fumes the entire time, and for days after), and door replacement/adjustment by Okko. For us it was roughly a 2 week timeline (not including estimates) and they're quite busy so expect to book at least several months in advance. Heads up that Okko is forthright and will state clear expectations and limitations - if you need someone warm and fuzzy, it won't be a good fit for you.

Kent is a highly experienced painter, and he uses a technique to reduce brush strokes on the boxes so that they're hardly noticeable. The doors went out separately to be sprayed, and Okko took the utmost care in making sure they were sanded beautifully so that they look like new. Our kitchen wasn't in good shape at all, and Okko actually spent the extra time to fix a couple of the doors for us. It's incredibly rare to find somebody that cares about fine details and that takes the time to do things right.
