From the first minute I spoke with the owner Ray until they complete my yard I was impressed. Ray is down to earth, easy to talk to and doesn't try to pressure sell and he really knows his stuff. My job was not an easy one, I needed my 2400 sq. ft. lawn completely replaced. The tricky part was lots of roots showing and a third of the yard needed major leveling. Day 1 they removed the whole lawn in the rain the entire time and boy did it look bad because of all the roots. Day 2 they were back, they cleaned up the roots, leveled it and laid the lawn that day and it looked amazing. And as I write this review the lawn is a week old and growing beautifully. The two crews that work on my yard were respectful, hardworking and a lot of fun to deal with. Out of respect for the whole crew I will not single out anyone by name but the young men who Ray trusted to lead the crew were awesome (the whole crew was which was a reflection of the leaders). I can honestly say I have nothing to complain about with Mr. Lawn. Oh yes let's not forget the price...fair and worth every penny. I will be posting this review on Google and Home Stars because I want everyone to know Mr. Lawn is a fair and very professional company and you can trust them, I did. Joe McQ. Surrey B.C. read more

Mr. Lawn recently replaced my front yard and I must say I am extremely satisfied with the entire process. I met with Ray and went over my concerns within the day I received my detailed estimate and the price was MUCH more competitive than the other lawn replacement quotes I received. I had requested a particular date and Mr. Lawn accommodated my schedule. The staff arrived exactly when they said they would, they were friendly and extremely hard working, they got my lawn done in 1 day and l couldn't be more happy. Ray followed up by email with my new lawn care instructions and it has been over a month now and my lawn still looks as good as it did the day it was installed. I have recommended Mr. Lawn to my colleagues/friends and family as the whole process was simply impressive. I will be calling Mr. Lawn back for all my future lawn care needs! read more

This is my first review that my neighbour encouraged me to write! We hired Mr. Lawn to replace our front and side lawn and are so pleased with the outcome! My husband and I like to support small local businesses and when we met with Ray and he so kindly and patiently answered every one of our many questions and never tried to up-sell us on anything else, we knew we made the right choice. He showed up when he said he would, the quote was in the range that we expected, the workers were very respectful and it was finished on time. I had an idea of what it would look like in my head (I mean, it's just grass...right?) but the reality is even better....and they cleaned up everything!! When we finish our back yard next year we will definitely call Mr.Lawn again. I recommend this company without hesitation! read more

Found MR LAWN through google. The 52 REVIEWS, ALL 5 STARS were ALL excellent. Raymond came over for a consultation and to provide a quote for having my entire lawn replaced with sod. I was very impressed with Ray - no attitude, humble, very knowledgeable, and informative about my situation. He let me know that he was very busy and it may be a few weeks before they could get the job done. When the time came, he called the day before to inform us that he would be here the following day. On the morning of the job, he showed up with a crew of about 20 people at 9:00am and they finished at 2:00pm. They did an amazing job - very clean and neat work! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ray and his team at Mr. Lawn! 5 STARS read more

Ray Mueller and his associates at Mr. Lawn did an excellent job of installing the lawn in our back yard. They first had to level our back yard (since it had been filled with raised garden beds), and remove a stump. Despite having limited space through which to get to our back yard, making it necessary to do everything by hand, they completed the job on time and for the reasonable estimate they quoted to us. We are very pleased with our lawn and with all of the people at Mr. Lawn who were courteous and worked so hard to complete the lawn quickly so that we had little inconvenience and were able to enjoy our beautiful lawn sooner than we would have thought possible. Mr Lawn installed a new yard for me recently and I must admit I am extremely pleased all around with this company. The owner Ray showed up to do my quote personally and once I agreed to go with them they set a date, showed up on time and in clean, professional vehicles and uniforms. They were kind and courteous and knowledgeable and cleaned up after their work leaving me a very happy customer. My lawn looks great and I'm very pleased with their services. I highly recommend them and their pricing is fair !!! Here we are a month later and my lawn is thriving which is great. read more

I hired Mr.Lawn to instal turf in my backyard due to it being destroyed by the crows and raccoons looking for the beetle larvae....I was pleased with the fact the owner of the company arrived instead of just employees. They were in clean, appealing trucks and uniforms and were extremely kind and courteous contrary to these other reviews. I'm not exactly sure who these people are reviewing in these other comments as the rates I were given best any other quotes I received and the work done was immaculate. My lawn is gorgeous and no more beetle problems ! read more

We needed sod laid in our backyard and Mr Lawn had a reasonable price, good reviews, and were recommended by the turf supplier. We expected a couple of workers here all day, but about 8 of them showed up and the job was done in about 4 hours. They did an excellent job preparing the ground and laying the turf. Ray told us how to look after it for the first few days, and then followed up by sending us detailed instructions for ongoing care. The lawn looks great and we could not have dreamed of this kind of result by seeding. read more

We had Mr. Lawn come and sod our entire back yard after filling in a pool. The owner was quick to come and give me a quote which was much lower than other quotes I received, he was able to schedule the installation for the following week, and offered to help with the extra leveling before laying the sod. The job was done quickly, yard looks great, proper after care info was given and owner has followed up by phone since. I would recommend Mr. Lawn for sod installation. read more

I find the other reviews quite baffling. My experience with Mr Lawn was nothing but cordial and polite. As the other review mentions, Mr Lawn is quite knowledgeable, and when it came to the installation, they were punctual and efficient. He answered all my questions with care and provided a very thorough after-care document. I will provide an update, but I am confident it will take root because it is quality sod. read more

Ray and his team did an amazing job replacing my lawn, removing shrubs and also removing a palm tree. My lawn was ravaged by crows and looked terrible. I could never thank Ray and his team enough for all of their hard work. My lawn looks fantastic. What a difference it has made. Laurie read more
