Did you know that if you get their bestseller Bibimbop without the egg and meat, and drizzle it with gojuchang sauce, it's then suitable for vegetarians and vegans? I know the idea sounds sad, but it's actually quite tasty and satisfying. The kimchi and the gojuchang sauce certainly does all the magic here, and if you're lucky enough to have very fresh vegetables. This will cost you Php 99 still, but I do think it's worth it.
If you're ordering meat and egg-free bibimbop, at first you'll get a 'huh?' look from their staff, but they will grant you your request. It's still served in a sizzling plate with that ridiculous paper ring around it that's supposed to protect you from getting burned.
I'm not sure though if the Rice Cake and Japchae (with omitted meat) are vegan, but it does seem likely that they can be (do ask first though!).
TIP: Ask for extra sesame oil for your bibimbop to make it extra tasty. read more
