First time going since I live out of town, my brother in-law and sister took me on my last night in LR. The food was really good, you get a lot on your plate. The passion fruit green tea was really good as well. I had a clumsy moment and spilled water on our table, the waitress was really nice and moved us to another table and told me not to worry about it, things happens. The atmosphere was very nice they were busy with take out orders but was very tentative to us and our needs. I will definitely go again when I return. I highly recommend. Would be alternative for Mr Chen as more authentic Chinese cuisine but place is quite a disappointment. Went in years ago and wasn't impressed, went again to the place as Mr chen has closed permanently, ordered more traditional authentic Chinese dishes, intestine; was told would be a bit spicy and no spice flavor at all. Rice ordered was hard for half of them, and burnt, which was the bottom of the pot with yellowing to golden brown crust. If they run out of rice dish would have been better not to sell or make new one for the customer instead of selling inedible leftover. Intestines were very chewy. Overall not recommended read more

Was in town for work and decided to order doordash, as they do not deliver we ordered the combo flat noodles, basil chicken and pork intestines. We loved everything else except the intestines. It was too hard and chewy, and had a weird bitter taste in it. We ended up throwing it away. Flat noodles was great and flavorful. Basil chicken was savory, but a little dry. To be fair tho, the portion was decent for all entries. Not bad for the price but DO NOT recommend the pork intestines at all. It's really hard to find authentic Asian foods, but Mr. Hui's is the best I've had in this region! It's worth the drive from Pine Bluff to enjoy food items the way they are supposed to be prepared. I think 3 stars is a little bit generous. I ordered orange chicken & Taiwanese Style wonton soup for delivery through UberEats. Not sure what was supposed to be "Taiwanese Style" about it , but ok. The orange chicken wasn't bad, but it's more batter than chicken and mine was actually kind of dry, for a lack of the orange sauce. The soup was good, but again, not sure why it's described as Taiwanese Style? Just FYI my wife is Taiwanese and we visit at least twice a year and have been for more than 35 years. read more

Glad they are here under new management m. This place has been around since 2017 but under new management since October last year. The chef is from China and trained in various regional cuisine and if you want anything Fujian style or Szechwan style etc you can specify that as well. The family owned enterprise is serving up delicious home style southern Chinese cooking with flavors that aren't drowned out by too many spices. The seafood with the tofu in the clay pot is a prime example of that, where the flavors of the octopus, squid and the vegetables remain prominent. The Mei Fun however has more spices (delicious) and the curry flavor with the rice noodles is a must try. The sesame chicken is predictably good but nothing you may not have had before possibly. I haven't eaten there, always took the food to go. The people are friendly and try really hard to get everything right. The food is great and for the price you get a lot.
