I noticed workers stripping the roof into my backyard without permission. When I went out to speak to the workers, none spoke English. Site manager Mark Libiszewski came over and I explained he didn't ask permission and does not have permission to strip the haters roof onto our property. The bigot called police. That is when it was discovered no roofing permit had been pulled. Site manager blamed it on a 3rd party error. Police explained [on video + audio] work came to a halt & once a permit is pulled work will resume within 10 to 14 days. The site manager will come to my house prior to work starting and touch base. No stripping will be done on our property but workers will come over to pickup errant debris and nail sweep with a magnet. Five days later, June 2, I noticed tarps, plywood, and workers stripping the neighbors roof into our yard. When I walked over to confront the same site manager the tarps were coming down as the roof was speed stripped by the hard-working crew. I reiterated to Mark he did not have permission to strip the bigots roof onto our property and if he needed that kind of access we should be compensated for it. Mark said he had no authority to compensate and they always go onto other peoples property when needed. Mark also said Suffield Police said we gave permission and insinuated I was calling police a liar. I subsequently called KlausLarsen office and spoke to Cora, Production Department, who told me I need to speak to Joanie Dunstan Mgr. Two days later I connected with Joanie who had to speak to someone else and then would call my son who owns the property. Needless to say my son is still waiting for a call. In summary, KlausLarsen did not pull a proper permit initially, feels entitled to send equipment & crew onto other peoples property without permission even when told not to. We inadvertently helped a bigot get his roof done by a crew of foreign hard workers he despises and our yard was the receptacle for the bigots roof trash. I cannot speak to pricing or quality of work but I can speak to the unprofessional and disrespectful manner in which we were treated.

The West Hartford Building Inspector failed the roof and told them in a report exactly what they needed to do to get it to pass. Bill from LA Rich yelled and screamed at me because the building inspector came to inspect the roof, he said the inspector was wrong, that he didn't know his job among other insults I won't repeat here. The inspector was nice enough to meet them at my house and show them exactly what had to be corrected. They never yelled at the inspector, though. I guess they felt more comfortable yelling at a 72 yr old woman, says a lot about them. There were also other problems with their work in which the owner Scott told me to go up on the roof and fix myself. Boy, did I pick the wrong roofing company! I just wanted to warn everyone of my experience. I will be handling things to have their faulty work corrected. I definitely do not recommend them.

This company has now changed its name to CDA Roofing - Agawam…read more We had a high regard for this company at the time when we selected them to replace our large slate roof with architectural shingles in Downtown Springfield, MA. However, now that there is a problem, they are not showing the same level of "customer care" they showed when we were writing large checks. Its been a few weeks since we called and reported a roof leak to them. They tried to get out of the warranty by twisting our words and saying that if another contractor had touched the roof the warranty was voided. We repeated our words and explained to them that no one has touched the roof. Next they told us that it may be a while before they can get out to look at it, because they are backed up with work. When we asked them when they might be out, they said it would be the coming weekend or the following one. We agreed to the delay, as we reminded them that we cannot wait forever for them to come look at the roof, as it is leaking, and we seem to be having frequent rains this season. They assured us that even though the company had changed its name to CDA Roofing, they were still standing behind the warranties they issued as CD Roofing. Several weeks later, they still haven't come out, and everyone in the office is now passing the buck... to the dispatcher... or to the office manager... or to the bookkeeper... I guess next it will be to the owner. Meanwhile, its raining again, as hurricane Florence churns up the week's weather pattern. I will update the status of this review/post as the story unfolds.

From beginning to end, the team was professional, timely and efficient. Brandon was our main point of contact and he was excellent throughout the entire process. While there were a few minor unrelated hiccups early on, thanks to Brandon's diligence, he went above and beyond to resolve them quickly. His clear communication and follow-through made a big difference and kept the project on track. The roofing crew worked fast without sacrificing quality, showed up on time and cleaned up thoroughly after the job was done. Everything--from the exterior roof work to the interior ceiling repairs--was completed to a high standard. We're very happy with the final results and would highly recommend L.A. He offered to pay for the damages caused to my Gutter Helmet. This was replaced on 1/29/20 at the cost of $300. I am impressed by the customer service to handle this in a timely manner. I will now recommend Millstream to others for roofing projects, but just be aware that they might use subcontractors. I hope the company they use will learn from their past mistakes.

Contacted Millstream, they came and put up mess gutter guards on the house, I asked it they could also do my garage, (I never had gutter guards on the garage) they told me it would cost $500, they tech, Troy, came and did the work, he told me he ran out of pieces and I would need a half a box, I told him if I am paying for an entire box, to leave the remainder at my house. I just go the bill for $500, for a full box! When I called the office, Paula told me they gave him the 13 pieces he needed, so I asked why I was charged $500 for a full box, she had no answer. Lansing carries these mesh Gutter Guards, $350 per box. Also, when you get a new roof, the roofer is supposed to leave remaining roof shingles with you, Millstream did not do that either. Will never recommend this company.

Their customer service is excellent and it was very easy to schedule the services, great communication regarding confirming appointments and letting me know when they will arrive . The crews that came to my house were very professional, hard working and did very high quality work. The pricing is very reasonable especially for the outstanding services they provide. My gutters hadn't been cleaned in a few years and both my driveway and house needed a lot of work so they were difficult jobs . I was very happy with how everything looked when the job was finished!
