I'm a regular -- the kind of customer you'd think they'd treat with at least basic respect. But today? Today was a masterclass in how NOT to run a coffee shop. I woke up late and was already pushing it for work, but I thought, "Let me stop at Dutch Bros real quick -- they're usually fast." Yeah... not today. First, I get told to pull into the second lane. Fine. But why did six cars magically appear in front of me and get served before me? I was literally watching people who arrived AFTER me get their drinks and leave while I just sat there like a decorative plant. And THEN, as if the slow service wasn't enough, they sent out a whole trio of employees for my one simple order: * Employee #1: Takes my order. * Employee #2: Randomly comes to my window asking for payment like the first guy didn't exist. * Employee #3: Finally brings out my drink. Why on earth did it take three different people to complete one order? Like, was this a scavenger hunt? A relay race? A group project where nobody knew what the assignment was? I don't know if they were being rude because I corrected the guy on my rewards number, or because I was paying with cash, or if they just woke up and decided to be unprofessional -- but the attitude, the disorganization, the lack of communication, ALL of it was unnecessary.
