My wife and I were walking back on a warm summer evening after shopping at Ikea. We came across TA…read moreVegan House and decided to try it out. The restaurant was quite busy with lots of tables occupied. The staff politely greeted us and seated us at a table. The staff were fluent in German and English.
Their "super bowls" are €4.70 each and aren't too filling. One could easily try two bowls. We ordered: #7 Awesome (Wok seasonal vegetables with chili-ginger, tempeh and roasted onions) and #16 Endless Love (Steamed dumplings filled with vegetables soybeans doused with hoisin-chili sauce and roasted sesame) to begin with. They weren't spicy and tasted quite good. We also ordered Tra Da (Fresh brewed mate green tea on ice with ginger and lime juice) and Green World (Fresh green apple, Mint, Avocado, ginger, lime and passion fruit juice) for drinks. Since we were still a bit hungry, we tried another super bowl: #12 Heartful (Coated baked tofu at a skewer with a peanut cream dip).
There are two main seating areas, separated by a small set of stairs. The kitchen and bar are visible in the front. High-chairs for children are available upon request. There are clean restrooms for all genders in the back.
