Really surprised about the glowing Yelp reviews. I've been seeking out the best döner all over Hamburg for a couple years, and would never go here again. Döner meat is heavenly when it is succulent, tender (with maybe a bit of crisp bite on the outside), with maybe some sizzling fat, and variegated color.
The people working at Bol Kepce are really nice, and they attended the turning meat spit conscientiously but this is truly inferior döner meat - - consistency of leather, but with also a kind of plastic texture when you bite into it - - truly hard to eat - - monotone brown color and completely flavorless. The dürüm wrap is like rubber. Although there are many vegetables on display, the main veg in the wrap is icebergy lettuce. On the Almighty Kebab Scale, it gets a 2 out of 10. read more
