The place is modern and stylish. The atmosphere is relaxing and intimate and fortunately I had a short waiting time. The best experience of the wait time was not surfing through my phone, or flipping through the pages of a GQ magazine. Oh no, it was being offered a refreshment and sipping a glass of whiskey. They offer other refreshments such as water and soda, but I decided to keep it classy. Maya was my stylist and let me just say that she is excellent at what she does. You can select the date and the time that's most convenient. This means a lot because I'm a technical guy and value my time. In the past it's been annoying to have to spend all day at a barbershop waiting for a chair to open up or arrive at your appointment time and still wait for over an hour. Even if he's not ready right at my appointment time, I've never had to wait more than 15 mins or so. I don't need anything complicated as I'm bald with a beard. However, I've grown my beard out and I'm very particular about how it's lined up and shaped. Mike has taken the time to listen and get to know me and does exactly what I'm looking for.

Meanwhile, the one stylist seemed to almost restart cutting the client's hair, washing, blowing drying, and then cutting all over again---whether the client didn't like it or not, I couldn't tell. And the the second stylist was no where to be seen after checking me in... 25+minutes after my appointment, when I asked how much longer, the first stylist said "soon" but that clearly wasn't the case since she started cutting the client's hair all over again.
