At the beginning, the service was slow and we had to wait a while for our drinks but this soon picked up throughout our dine. Staff here are extremely friendly but why really makes it is the food. It's all you can eat for £15.50 and it's about £3 more over the weekend. I felt that was great value for money and the quality of the food is great and much better than buffet restaurants. You can order anything off the menu and they make it fresh for you. All of us shared a variety of starters including spring rolls, duck pancakes, ribs, prawns and seaweed. For mains, I had a family nest which including chicken, prawns, beef.im a such all presented in a crispy basket type thing a bit like a poppadom. Great place to come with a group of people and then you.can share dishes. Order as much as you like of the menu as long as you don't waste anything. A lot of the dishes you.can pick what protein you want out of chicken, tofu,.prawn or beef. They also do other dishes which include premium ingredients such as lamb and tuna steak. Totally recommend!

Must Go - They don't have sushi or dimsum here, and their boba is in another location, so a little misleading.

Formerly known as China Garden. (Idk it says so on the sign lol)…read more So I'm an American visiting the area, but I'm also half Chinese, so I've been raised on Chinese food. Seeing as this place has no reviews, I decided to visit the place and review it. I ordered at 5:55pm, and got all my food at 6:02. That's pretty fast... - I also noticed that the waitress didn't write the order down. I don't know if it's because I was by myself or if that's how things work here. I thought I'd note that. These are the things I ordered: -Egg fried rice: a little small for £2.60. I had to buy it separately. Made pretty well. Slightly sour but good flavor. -Chinese tea: Standard pot of loose leaf Oolong tea. It was £2.20, which is nice. -Water: Got a nice amount of ice!!!! As an American, we love ice. Also it doesn't taste like tap water. Good water. 10/10 water. -Special Pineapple: Sweet and sour sauce with beef, chicken, shrimp, pork, pineapple and veggies. The sauce is actually much more sour than sweet, which was new for me. Most places make the sauce too sweet. I would have liked it more if it were a little sweeter, especially since the rice was sour too. The meats were all slightly dry, especially the chicken and beef. The shrimp tasted pretty good actually. The sauce helped, but I still noticed the dryness of some of the meat. A moderately sized dish that could have been better for £8.90. The total bill was £13.70. I don't know if this is considered pricy in the UK, but for an American, this is expensive! This would have been an ok price if this were in dollars, but with the conversion rate, it would be $21.40. For what I got, that is absurd. I was supposed to get 10% off since I ate within 5-6:30pm, but when I mentioned this they said it was already factored in. I know it wasn't factored in or else the final price would have been £12.33, but I'm not gonna argue with them. Overall good, but not great. 3/5.

Had to pay to park (on the menu it says if you take your ticket back in with you they will refund (as long as its after 6pm) so we did that!) Food was ok - not really that impressed considering it cost about £18 each for a buffet and drink. I know it is 3 courses - but thats only if you like what is on offer. Had chocolate fountain with marshmellow and fruit for dessert, duck roll things with salad for starter - neither of which i would choose in a restaurant - so really it depends on what you like. No sweet and sour chicken which is my favourite foor at chinese - so really a waste of money for me - however my friend i went with liked it! Also there were quotes from shakespear painted on the walls which i thought were pretty cute- although some of the writing was kinda hard to read.

Not entirely sure I would visit again…read more We went here for my partners birthday in november and there were 16 of us. We had booked in advance and they seated us right at the back even though it wasn't that busy. Half of us were against a wall and had to struggle to get out as the table was too close to it. The food was mediocre at best and not worth the price paid for it. Drinks too expensive and took forever to arrive. Considering the place was not busy and all they have to do is take your drinks order the service was terrible. No longer have a chocolate fountain and barely had any dessert available. When I went up for some there was only enough for two people at the most and they were not eager to replenish. If you're looking for a great chinese buffet this is not it.

It was set about 15-min from the A6 but wow was it worth the detour! They have a massive menu with foods from all over east Asia. We decided to share a starter of salt & pepper short ribs. The husb opted for Singapore noodles (his favorite) and I was going to order spicy combination noodle soup but was recommended to try the Spicy Tom Yum Noodle Soup the was on the specials board. I love tom yum so it was a no-brainer to take the recommendation. The short ribs were delicious. Perfectly fried so they were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and they were covered in a delectable salt, pepper, garlic, and onion topping. (chef's kiss) The Singapore Noodles were a healthy portion and OMG the meat was SO TENDER. Sorry for yelling, but I needed to make sure everyone understood. Sometimes meat can be overcooked slightly and a little chewy, but they have perfected the art of meat here! The Spicy Tom Yum Noodle Soup was brimming with ingredients and was massive! The combination is their house mix of meats and seafood. Again, the meat was INCREDIBLY TENDER! The seafood was plentiful and also cooked to perfection. I was able to stop myself from stuffing it all into my face so I could wrap up a third of it for future me. I found both dishes to be decently spicy and the server let me know that both were level 1 spicy so I'll definitely kick it up a notch next time I'm back. I think the husb will happily stay at level 1 . The chefs come from Hong Kong and we gave our compliments to the chef over the short wall separating the kitchen from the dining area. This place is now a must-stop for us when we drive from London to the North and it should be for you too!

Asian fusion? Chinese crossed with Japanese and a side of vietnamese?…read more It's a bit hard to pin point the exact origins making up Wofon, but that's what makes it such an exciting treat. There are three steps when ordering -- choosing your noodles (or rice), topping and sauce. Noodles vary from the traditional Japanese ramen (wheat noodles), Udon (thicker wheat noodles), or perhaps a classic Chiense Dan Meen (egg wheat noodles). The toppings selection varies with Wofon special (selection of meats, prawn, roast pork), mixed seafood, or roast duck, for example. And lastly, the sauces. Selection can be Chinese Szechuan spicy, curry, or Japanese teriyaki. What I love about Wofon (aside from their amazing cheap prices) is that there is such a plethora of selection choices. You can order soup noodles one day, mixing noodles another, mixing rice, or wok fried rice. The selections are completely endless! I also strongly recommend the spare ribs with barbecued sauce as a starter. And the banana with vanilla ice cream as a dessert. And for £2.50, you can't beat the price. Enjoy!
