Mr. Bubble is a cute little boba shop with a ton of options . My little dude doesn't like boba or jelly normally but even for him he was able to find an option. He tried the strawberry boba with the strawberry milk tea and he LIKED IT . My other son tried the chocolate milk tea with normal tapioca and he didn't like that ask much he said he would actually prefer the matcha that I normally get. I got my normal matcha milk tea with no sweetener and tapioca jelly and honestly even though it was good, it wasn't earthy enough. Unless they can give me more matcha powder, I wouldn't get it again. read more

Since this is the only bubble tea shop in Evansville, it's okay. But compared to other bubble tea places that I've tried in different parts of the US and Taiwan (E.g. Chatime, Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea, Kung fu tea, etc.) , it's average at best and can be improved. I've tried different options from their drink categories (Milk tea, fruit tea, smoothie, yogurt drink, etc.); and it's nice being able to change up the base flavor. For the milk teas in particular, it would be nice to include more tea flavors (e.g. Taiwanese teas, winter melon, etc.) and have more traditional toppings in addition to the tapioca pearls, red bean, and popping boba/jelly that are already in the menu; such as Aiyu (fig) or grass jelly. Pre covid, I enjoyed going inside and getting a nice boba tea. I just visited for the first time in years, was shocked to still see that they have the walk up window, speaker, etc. - it makes the ordering process very awkward and difficult, and I didn't feel like I could connect to the worker. The taro tea was delicious. I will be back for more once it is back to normal business. read more

This Asian chain is based off the popular Taiwanese Chain. You will find chains like this in a lot of the bigger cities with a bigger Asian population. So to have it here in Evansvilles is wonderful! It's the best bubble tea you will get here. Milk tea with regular bubbles is delicious and so are their other drinks. read more

So my daughter is a huge fan of Boba Tea and has tried them everywhere we travel. She just moved to Evansville for school so we thought we'd check this place out. She tried the Thai Milk Tea with boba - pretty fire to quote her. The reason for the two stars is the customer service- not sure who was working the afternoon of 13 August but worst customer service. To greet someone with "What?" Is crazy. Then to proceed with "what do you want" with a snarky attitude is going to lose potential regular customers. I'm sure it was probably a bad day but maybe change your approach to the customer service & more business will come ‍ read more

Place is cute. Boba is good! I get the Thai iced boba milk tea. Love it. They have many more options other than milk teas as well.

So glad we got a real bubble tea place in Evansville! If you're new to bubble tea, I recommend choosing a bursting boba instead of the traditional tapioca balls as they can be a bit startling on a first try. Amazingly accurate flavors. read more

The drinks are good. But last night (April 8th) I went in 10 minutes before closing (plenty of time to grab a drink and get out before they close) and the woman that was working was very rude. She tapped her fingers while we ordered, kept telling us that they close soon, refused to make certain drinks because she had started cleaning up early. Overall, she was just really unpleasant to the point we were uncomfortable. In fact, another couple came in and the guy couldn't get his drink because she had already dumped it down the drain early. He walked out empty handed and you guys lost a sale. I try not to leave bad reviews, but it was a very bad customer experience and thought the owners/managers should know. read more

I haven't found one bubble tea place in Evansville that serves FRESH boba. By fresh, I mean not hard, too soft from being reheated in the morning, and perfectly squishy, sweetened, and still hot from it being made no more than 3 hours. That being said- the boba I got at Mr. Bubbles was OLD, at least 24 hours, and as to not even cover that part up, it was hard. I suppose I am a harder critic since I make my Boba fresh for my husband and I was just too excited to just buy bubble tea. But, I will just continue to take 5 minutes out of my day to just make my Thai tea bubble tea that is fresh and not old till something better opens up. But, if boba is not your everyday drink, this place looks very clean, and bright. I just think they could do better with their boba that feels overcharged. Evansville is very cheap to live in. I don't think boba should be more than$3, since rent is cheap. Austin, TX is more expensive to rent a spot and their Boba is $3.50! If the quality is not good, at least the price should be worth it. Perhaps if the price was better, they can quickly sell more, and make fresh boba every 3 hours. Then, I am sure their quality will inevitably have an increase. This would make their business better.
