After we moved in, I found a duct completely disconnected directly above the furnace in our basement causing air to pour out in the mechanical area instead of going upstairs as needed. Norm also did not replace the thermostat wire as required, so the following summer our air conditioner would not work properly. I contacted Norm multiple times, but Vestal Heating and Plumbing did not respond to my requests to fix the issues caused by their poor and incomplete work. Took 2 visits, and what could have been a costly endeavor was finally solved after much contemplation and discussion. We decided to cut open the kitchen floor to get to the drain pump. Thank goodness the problem was a clogged drain pump, easily cleaned and put back. Vinny figured out how to put floor back together with support of 2z4s, so the cut out floor piece could be put back in place and is not very noticeable, and leaves access to the pump in case I have another problem with it down the line. I found his pricing very fair and he was very knowledgeable regarding plumbing in general. He will be my forever plumber from now on.
