Disappointing Experience with Poor Service…read more In August 2024, I brought my iPad in for a battery replacement. Unfortunately, the new battery failed to perform as expected, depleting within an hour. I contacted the company in December and returned to them in January--well within the warranty period. At that time, Juan assured me the issue was resolved and advised that if the problem recurred, I should bring the device back. Regrettably, the iPad continued to behave as if it still had its original battery, draining quickly even with notifications turned off and no apps running. When I called today to inform Juan of my decision to return the device, he refused to take responsibility for the defective battery and declined to honor the warranty. Instead, he insisted that I pay for another battery replacement. Given that this is the second time I have received a defective battery, I find it unacceptable that the company expects me to pay again for a product they provided despite knowing it was faulty. I am extremely disappointed with their service and cannot, in good conscience, recommend their business. If it were possible, I would rate this experience a -10.

See, if you're a girl and you go to that other auto parts store - ya know, the one that rhymes with Motto Hone - you're pretty much on your own. You're expected to find the right windshield wiper blade for your car, despite the fact that there's an entire wall devoted to them. Then, you're expected to actually know how to put it on your window. (if you're a girl that has all of this knowledge - more power to ya, sister) Not at O'Reilly. Not only do they have a nifty little computer that helps you match your car's make and model to the correct size blades, the guys behind the counter will actually leave the counter and come put the blades on for you. Or change your blinker light. Or show you where the oil goes vs. where the transmission fluid goes. (they'll also come out in the middle of a rainstorm to check your dead battery, even though your husband is there with you) I'm not saying I don't know cars because I'm a girl, nor am I saying that the employees of O'Reilly are only helping me because I have boobs. I'm just saying that this is the store that goes that extra little step to help a girl out. And that's really all that counts, right?

He tried to give me a lower class battery until I questioned him about it and said oh he got the wrong battery. I asked him why wasn't the battery holding charge and he said I should know because I was the one using the battery. I had to ask him for paperwork on my battery after it was already in my vehicle and he said he was getting to it. He thinks he needs to keep the upper hand on the interaction. Don't go in there expecting stellar service. You won't get it!

On top of the great service my 2010 Prius is running great with the battery I installed today from Greentec. These guys are pros and the price is good. FYI, I tried to fix my own battery and I have to let you know that is not an easy task, hybrid batteries are super complex.
