I was serviced by Laura as a first time customer due to a referral by a professional contact. I started off small talk and we started talking about where one another were from. I informed her I was from Memphis and shortly after she stated "so how do you like Huntsville? I know it's better than being in Memphis." It caught me off guard, so I asked her had she ever been there and she let me know she had not. This is common stereotype from people so I blew it off. Later on in the conversation we are speaking about local establishments as I asked her about a former business that was in the plaza. She said she knew the owner and the conversation went on when it came to marketing. She then said she was talking to him about something and started what she said off with "ninja". I was so caught off guard because what she meant saying that was n***** I was so stunned that she said that to me as a Black woman. I would've gotten up and walked out, but due to the time constraints I restrained to get my service complete. The last thing was her talking about military people and veterans. She's going on and then says "you know y'all military people are crazy". I then responded because I'd had enough of the disrespect "You know people love the Black dollar but don't like Black people". She was silent the rest of the appointment. So she not only disrespected my hometown, but me as a Black person and a retired combat Veteran when you're in a city whose economy is based on military and government people is crazy. This was my first time meeting her. If she was this comfortable to say this in public who knows what is being said in private. Especially with recent events in the news. Do not support this business.

Where upon entering it was three people present. There were about 6 staff members. Not sure if this was a sign being it's mid day Saturday. They had one television in the lobby turned to Cooking channel with a sound system music playing for 80's rock on top of the tv volume. They have several colors to choose from with various nail polishes. They have a menu of items offered with prices. Staff were very direct and to the point. This isn't a spa or welcoming place. You will not receive water or refreshments while you get a service. They speak their native language which is okay, but when they are pointing at people followed by laughter and appear to be talking about customers by body language it's rude. The technician painted my toes and skin around my toes where the job looked not quite fully professional. They seemed sanitary pertaining to equipment used. This is something I check for. They have one restroom on the back and it was clean. Unfortunately, I won't be back and do not recommend.

Charged extra money after my mother and I left the salon. I have cancer and most of the time I…read moredon't feel like getting my hair or nails done. My mother paid for me to get my nails done this day because I don't feel like doing anything and I don't have money to do anything. I didn't feel like getting full service so I just got my feet washed/scrubbed and nail polish taken off and nails clipped. I was there maybe 15-20 min and I was happy with the outcome. My mother paid by debit card $35 (she told me previously the owner only charged her $30 for the same service but this time they charged us $35 even after her asking about the previous discount). My mother gave me cash $5 tip. The following week July 28, 2026 this store charged my mother an addition $10 without her consent. I told her I'd call them...which I did and they returned the $10 back but they should've given that $5 back as well. We're struggling financially because of the cancer (like an idiot I worked too because I thought...I should be a productive human being and work. Well I did that too much to quality for SSI and I have to wait 5 months without any financial help and my SSDI will not kick in until December and my 81 yo retired mother is paying my mortgage and hers and she just wanted to make me happy but this place stole from her and just that $5 has made things difficult). I'll never go back to these people I used to only use them for my nails but I guess this is why there's the Asian Boycott of 2026. To me, if you steal from someone you're calling them and treating them like trash. And that's exactly what was done here. My mother solely wanted to make happy since I am no longer able to work and I'm on hospice. This salon stole from us at a time that we've never experienced before. I'm just waiting to die and these losers steal from us. Personally I'd rather do my nails myself than to be taken advantage of and the Asian Boycott will continue in my house (my mother is nicer than I am, but this is unforgettable and unforgivable)
