Elizabeth at the front register is one of the nicest people I have ever encountered working a register. She knows which items you have that might be on sale and looks them up in the ad for you in no time flat. This is my only drugstore. They also have one or two Redbox units outside so I can get my medicine, some movies, and the popcorn to go with them. The drive-through isn't blazingly fast but when it comes to my medicine, I'd rather them take their time than to make a mistake. They are very good at their jobs.

She picked up her prescription and was charged an insane amount for it. I have the same prescription and get it for $15 with a coupon at a locally owned pharmacy. I called Walgreens and asked why they didn't use a coupon for my wife's prescription. I'll go over the lies they told me below: The lady who answered said they could not use a coupon in conjunction with insurance. This is a lie, as I do this all the time at my pharmacy. She told me that if she used a coupon instead of insurance the price would be about the same as what they charged my wife. This is a lie, as I have filled the same prescription with a coupon and no insurance for about $20. And finally, it should be noted that I have filled the exact same prescription at the very same Walgreens with a coupon in the past for $20-$25. Now granted, it's not a guarantee that I was lied to over the phone. The other option would be that the lady who answered was a moron who knew nothing about her job. Either way, if you use Walgreens pharmacy your prescription will be handled by a team of liars and morons who will make zero effort to help you in reducing the price. Go to a locally owned pharmacy. They actually care about you. Walgreens does not.

Posted a note on a neighborhood social site seeking suggestions and someone mentioned they were reasonably sure this one was...even on Christmas Day. Phoned the pharmacist (Jason) who was able to transfer the prescription to his store and fill it. Drove 45 minutes to Columbia to pick it up and was greeted by a very friendly assistant (Teresa) at the Drive-Thru. Prescription filled immediately and I rushed back to Franklin with the meds. Other notes: I glanced inside and saw all staff wearing masks but several customers were not - so Social Distancing and safety measures may or may not be enforced. Had a very bizarre first experience here on Monday. I called ahead asking for a mani (with acrylic…read moreand design) and gel pedi. The person on the phone told me she did the designs but would be out of the shop. She asked me to show the other tech my style when I arrived to see if she could do it. When I arrived, everyone was friendly and the shop was clean. Each tech's credentials were listed and their health score was 100. There was one other customer and I was seated immediately. There was no water in the bowl and I really didn't have a chance to soak my feet which was strange since no one was waiting to be seen but that was fine. Gel has a $10 up charge but it was noted on the menu which I appreciate. I showed the other tech my photo and she confirmed that she would be unable to do that design. I guess I didn't make it clear that I still wanted my hands done so I told her that as my pedicure was ending. I move to the table and she cuts all of my nails off. Then, the other customer and I are told to switch places. The gentleman begins working on my nails. He adds the tips, rounds them per the new photo and then begins to add the dip powder. He finishes four of my five nails and then points to his hand and apologizes. One nail was a bit mishapen so I thought he was maybe apologizing for that. He continues to apologize and starts taking the powder off. I asked, "Do you not like any?" and he responds, "No." I assured him that it was okay and everyone has days. I wasn't upset or anything but I also was thinking maybe he's starting over. Then, not only does he take off the powder, he takes off the tips. All the while, the other tech has finished the other customer but isn't jumping in to assist-just checks me out. And yes, I still tipped. So, now I'm left with no nails and no explanation. Oh, and when I got home and looked at my pedicure it was spotty, the gel isn't even across my toes-no pic because I don't like my feet. It was strange and really just disappointing.
