As if no other place existed to get drinks, Moloney's it is! This place just doesn't have what I look for in a bar. I love pubs, Irish pubs at that because of what they carry. Irish whiskey and dark stouts are what make my life complete. And their drink selection is impressive, but for those who don't love standing in long lines or fighting through tons of people to a speedwell, it just doesn't mean much. And call me old, but I've spent more time on my feet on Moloney's then I have at any other bar in Kaiserslautern. Unless you're ready to get there early, or seriously fight for some table space, it's not worth it. I don't drink to get drunk, and I don't like to get rowdy when I drink. Moloney's caters to both. Like a previous reviewer said, you can actually do shots with the owner and staff. For some people that's a great way to have fun and meet people, I have no problems with that. For me, I see that as a huge red flag for industry unprofessionalism. I think Moloney's knows their target audience, and I'm not that person. I can't hardly fault a place for trying to be something to everyone, because it's obviously doing well. My two-cents? This place is awful.
