This is our third Moxy. We wanted to stay at a different area in Bordeaux, from our previous visit. This area is different indeed. A bit remote. We had a spacious terrace. It was a bit strange to tap the key card on the elevator and press the 'key' button instead of number 6 to go to the 6th floor. We had to make sure we tapped the card for 5 seconds or it wouldn't work. So annoying.
There were only two pillows on the bed. We were able to ask for two more. As with other Moxy, there was no in room safe. They do have lockers in the lobby. No closets. Just hangers on metal grids on the wall.
The breakfast was terrible. We only tried it once. There are several food options nearby. Les Halle is nearby, but they aren't open all the time. Renaissance hotel has Gina. There are many other options along the canal on the other side. But it is a bit of a walk.
We brought raspberries to our room and placed them on the sofa table. When we came back, there were ants all over them. They came to our room via the terrace door.
Overall, I would rate it 3.7 stars read more
