This hotel is a great bargain for Bordeaux! My husband and I stayed here for two nights in late June. It's a great place to stay if you know what to expect. Here are the Pros and Cons:
Pros:
--Although the staff does not speak English, they are very friendly
--The rooms have a little kitchenette if you want to cook
--The location is right near the tram stop. It's on a quiet, residential street so you get peace at night
--Bathrooms are clean and comfortable
--The rooms are pretty big for Europe. There's a table and chair and ample closet space
Cons:
--Wifi is a little unreliable. You have to register and log in pretty often. The signal is weak in the rooms but pretty good in the lobby
--Not many restaurants near the hotel...you have to walk 15-20 min to the city center
A great find while you're staying in Bordeaux. Enjoy walking along the river at nights and people-watching! read more
