I came to this hotel to experience the 2 Michelin star restaurant. We ordered the tasting menu with wine pairing. It was a great experience, but I was slightly disappointed by the service. Other Michelin starred restaurants are SO attentive. You don't even have a moment to look for a server, they are already at your table with whatever they anticipated you may need. The staff here is super lovely, very sweet and friendly, but at times I found myself trying to get their attention.
The menu is great. The use of oyster foam for multiple dishes was amazing. They are also very accommodating with dietary restrictions. It was strange for me to have the same exact potato pancake thing here that I have had at another Michelin restaurant. Looked the same, tasted the same (which tasted like heaven) but I was slightly disappointed by the lack of creativity.
Wine pairing was good. Could have been better considering we are smack dab in the middle of vineyards, but it was good.
I REALLY liked the staff, but otherwise had lukewarm feelings about this place. Dinner and wine came out to about $240 USD. read more
