Objective achieved...super quick purchase as the store was closing in a matter of minutes. The salesgirl behind the counter was very friendly and didn't rush us. Just because I was already in the section, I asked about a Jelly Sake that I like and wanted to see if they had it. She was not familiar so I showed her a photo just to be sure. She confirmed it politely and even asked why I liked it. She said she would look into stocking it. :-) Hey, couldn't hurt to mention it. She did suggest something comparable as well but I already had my hands full and said I'll be back to give it a try.

Whether it's rum or wine, the female manager makes the best recommendations. Every single wine she recommended has become my favorite. Best of all, they have some unique wines, as well as organic ones that give me zero hangovers, that I can't find anywhere else (even in union square where I work). Prices are reasonable, the manager is friendly and has a great taste. This is THE recommended liquor store for everyone in Queens. PS I'm surprised at some of the comments below about the female manager being racist. I'm a racial minority (Asian) myself and never once did I feel any of the aforementioned vibes from anyone in thid store. I guess these perceptions are quite subjective.

When I pulled up, I have to admit, I felt i must have been punked. The outside looks just like any liquor and beer store. And even the first few aisles are pretty standard. But head to the back, and you'll find an amazing array of local and just damn good craft beers. I wish more of the hoppy ones could be consistently cold, but that would be challenging given the supply. (Most of these breweries print a canned date on them, so be sure to check.) I've never seen so much Other Half besides at the brewery itself, and they even had a 4-pack of a semi-obscure brewery in the central Connecticut that I adore. Visit Date: December 20, 2025…read more I came into Motion Craft to hang out with my friend who loves Breweries. I wouldn't have seen pretty much every brewery I have seen if it weren't for my friend Sunil lol. When I walked in I was surprised because two more of my friends were there too and I was happy to see them. I don't drink but I have N/A beers because I like the taste of a beer but I don't want to get that buzzed or drunk feeling anymore. The owner of the brewery had a good selection of N/A beers so I opted for the Sam Adams IPA since I never had that one yet. Sitting at Motion craft was awesome. The owner of the brewery was serving us his name was Angel. He was very nice. It wasn't very crowded, a crowded place is good for the restaurant or bar but I like a little room to hang out with my friends without tripping over people so I appreciate that it wasn't crowded. They have a pretty unique selection of beers, I would recommend giving motion craft a try if you haven't been there.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had, discrimination should never be tolerated…read more I don't normally write reviews, but I'm deeply disturbed and outraged by the treatment I received at this store today. As a customer who walked in before anyone else, I respectfully waited at the counter and placed my order. The employee who shares an ethnic background with the next customer who entered ignored me completely and prioritized him, despite the fact that I was there first and already being served. This wasn't a simple oversight. It was deliberate, clear, and hurtful. I was overlooked and treated as if I didn't matter. The only difference between me and the other customer? I'm not Asian. That's what made this so painful and personal. Let me be clear I respect all cultures. I work in an area that is predominantly Asian and have always treated everyone with kindness and professionalism. But respect must go both ways. What happened today was a disgrace not just to me, but to the very values this country is supposed to stand for equality, fairness, and dignity for everyone. To the owner of this store: you need to seriously evaluate who you hire and what kind of environment you're creating. When your staff chooses who to serve based on race or familiarity rather than fairness, it sends a message that some people matter more than others. That's not just bad business it's discrimination. To those in the community regardless of background I urge you to hold businesses accountable. This kind of behavior doesn't just hurt one person, it divides communities and fosters resentment where there should be understanding. I will never shop here again, and I will encourage others to do the same until this issue is acknowledged and addressed properly. We all deserve to be treated with basic human respect. Nothing less.
