Another well run, trendy and clean Moxie's location. This is the furthest east location in Canada I've been to and was impressed, as usual. It's the rare combination of beautiful server, wonderful food and a great atmosphere without having to spend too much money. Regardless of what you order the menu impresses with every item and there's enough to choose from to satisfies everyone's pallet. A friend and I tried something different this time and didn't pay the price. His smoked beef was tasty, almost like if you ordered it at a deli in Montreal. And, my shrimp and lobster linguine was pretty good, too, although the tomato sauce was less than lightly drizzled. It was more of a tomato/olive oil with lots of capers. Still it was good, as is everything else we ordered here, along with the service. Come for food/drinks, with the family or on a date and go home happy. This Moxie's brings consistent food and service, as they all do.

I visited Moxie's at lunch time and to be honest as I approached it I thought it was empty. That's what comes from having tinted windows. To my surprise once inside the restaurant there was a good number of people in their having lunch. Large groups to family's to what looked to be business lunches. I was allowed to sit where i pleased so I chose a booth (a bit selfish I know but they gave me the choice) They have a decent selection of starters and mains, I went for a sirloin :0) The speed of service was good, although I did wonder how they would manage with a full house as the restaurant is very large but I guess they just have more staff on duty. My steak was cooked exactly as I requested it and it was tender (I have experienced better but at a higher price) The service was faultless and the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and you could have a conversation with out shouting, so it is somewhere I would go again.

Super creamy pasta topped with fresh cheese and a glass of red wine.

Love the cozy ness and atmosphere at Moxie's! The food has always been great and the service also!

There's hardly anything to choose from, and it's very over priced for what you get. The poutine is only one size and is actually mozza fries with hardly any cheese or gravy, and you hardly get any fries. My friends got regular sandwiches (turkey sandwiches, BLT) and liver and onions, even though that's not what they wanted, there was just hardly anything else to choose from! I wanted soup but they didn't have it on the menu, it was on a small chalk board that you can't see while you're sitting, I seen it while I was going to the bathroom, so after I ordered I was very disappointed to see they actually did have soup. The only thing I liked about this place was the prices of drinks and how kind our waiter was. If you're looking for a meal, maybe try Frank & Gino's.

No potato filler, real lobster, and delicious, creamy soup. Literally has a tasty seafood morsel in every bite. Hubbies had a decent Chef's Salad and I also had a yummy grilled cheese sandwich on homemade bread. Side Buns were homemade as well but a bit crumbly. Everything was tasty but the stR of the show was definitely the Chowder, can't say enough good things about it! Reasonable price, solid portions. Not fancy but definitely worth a visit.

Entrees (lobster-stuffed sole, seafood linguine, and salmon baklava) were delicious! Special requests (one guest lactose intolerant) cheerily accommodated. Dessert needs to be rethought out. If it's not as good as your mains, just don't serve it. Strawberry shortcake was the worst I've ever had. A stale biscuit with some plain whipped cream and a few slices of fresh strawberries. Awful! Chocolate torte was take-it-or-leave-it. Disappointed that management didn't bother to acknowledge the fact that it was a special occasion dinner, even though they had plenty of advance notice. Chairs not comfortable for dining. View magnificent. Decor awful. Keep the chef... Excellent! Rethink everything else.
