We complained about them mowing too high and sent pictures of results. They sent back entirely unrelated pictures of an edged alley. They refused to acknowledge the problem or remedy it. Problems started when we went to biweekly instead of weekly service, so it looks to us like they're trying to bully us back to weekly svc. Took them 2 weeks to send me an overpriced quote. Then got angry when I sent them an email telling them exactly that. No one ever bothered to speak to me, I thought they had blown me off and it would have been better if they had. Don't do business with these people. read more

Response time was better than others I called. Was able to get an appointment for mowing yard along with quote. However, when it came time, I was not notified that he had come but couldn't find a place to park. I'm giving my rating based of not completing the job and not trying. working with Tom's Lawn Service and they park close to street and haven't had any problems. read more

We have had 3 mulch jobs over the last 3 years we have been in our home. Each company did a good job but the results didn't last. When Aaron came out to provide a quote, he listened to me explain what I didn't like about the black mulch that kept fading in the beds and what I thought I wanted to do. Then he described what I expect he would do if it were his own home, something that in my opinion true professionals will do, as they are the expert. He gave great suggestions, several I would have never thought of on my own. Aaron is personable, creative, and professional. The gentlemen who came out and did the labor were also very professional and everything was cleaned up very well after the job was completed. I highly recommend Mow Pros for quality work. We are looking forward to them planting our flowering plants and a few new bushes after the cold snap passes! I normally don't write bad reviews however I have to make an exception in this case. Recently I viewed a post on Facebook regarding a recent installation that Mow Pros completed for a customer. One of the central themes of the design included river rock, used in borders among other things. Having had river rock in many areas of my own yard and knowing that after a few years, weeds begin to take root in the river rock areas and tend to cause extra work to ensure it looks nice, I commented on the Facebook page that I did not like river rock personally. I meant no disrespect to Mow Pros because their work has always looked professionally done. I was simply stating my preferences. Immediately the owner replied that "if I can't say something nice I should keep quiet". He obviously mistook my comment as demeaning and became very defensive. So once I replied that I thought his comment was uncalled for and a little "snarky", he blocked me. I was going to call Mow Pros and get a quote for about 10k in landscaping but since the owner is not very "customer service" oriented I have decided to spend my money with someone else. This was a simple misunderstanding with no harm intended however when this business felt the need to put me (a prospective customer) in my place I realized that this isn't the business I wish to spend money with. Mow Pros will never get any business from me and I will be sure to tell everyone I know to be careful to walk on eggshells when commenting on any posts they place on their public Facebook site or else the owner will get nasty and block them. Honest and trustworthy! Mow Pro to the rescue. There was a 40 foot tree about to fall on my house. Too much rain so no equipment could access my yard. Mow Pro was able to rope and harness and cut the tree down safely without incident. Thanks!! read more
