Things started out great when Mark came over to give us an estimate. We were moving out of state and just needed help packing and loading the uhaul. They arrived that morning and they went to town. My husband had to get mad at marks son because he wouldn't wrap our coffee table with blankets and stretch wrap. The uhaul wasn't really packed like Mark said it would and ended up having to get another small trailer from uhaul and that meant I had to drive my car instead of towing it. Gas for my car and the uhaul was an expense we didn't want. When we got here there was so much damage. I'll let the pics speak for themselves. Do want you can to avoid this business. I paid for a service and received the following : 1) A poorly put-together pallet with Apple computers. 2) Verbal abuse for disputing a rework invoice 3) Intimidation and threats for pointing out the substandard service. I would not recommend using this company. We used them once for a table & it went well. A month later we paid a premium to use them for moving into our house in June, & they overcharged us by $650, so we paid $1,850 instead of $1,250. Admittedly they had quoted us for I think 6 hours & they worked 8 I think, but the guys who were working wouldn't let us help when we offered, & they were moving really slowly. It had taken us 4 hours to load the initial truck before & one hour to unload, & that was between three amateurs. It took their three professionals over 8 hours with fully boxed & padded/wrapped furniture. Also we used their truck to move, & it was on the quote for $150. At the end of the day we were informed that it was $150 PLUS an hourly rate at the same rate as one of the guys! That to me seems insane. I emailed the owner asking for him to meet me in the middle on the excessive truck charges, & he said he'd talk to his guys & then never got back to me. When I pay a premium for top quality service I expect top quality results. They also dropped a box that had 3 bright red stickers labeled "FRAGILE" on it & broke an entire set of Pfaltzgraff plates that were very sentimental to me. They had it on top of a stack of boxes on a dolly that they were pulling down a half flight of stairs & were being careless, & it fell. Yes, I know things break during a move, but this was just due to carelessness. And finally, we had a basement open to kind of just stack everything, but requested that they leave an aisle open, & also asked that anything clearly labeled kitchen or bedroom be put upstairs. (It's a split entry so it wasn't like we were asking for extra work.) When they left we went downstairs & every label was everywhere, despite the time it took them to unload. I found numerous boxes clearly labeled fragile at the very bottom of heavy stacks & hardly any of the right boxes had been brought upstairs. We weren't being rude or pushy. We provided water & Gatorade that we had bought especially for them & only made these requests once, but we thought that with a professional company we would get better results. TLDR - Save your money & go with a less expensive company, that will hopefully be more careful with your things & work harder. read more

This was a decent moving company overall -- pricing was fair, honest help with what packing supplies we needed and the most cost effective way to get them, easy scheduling and dolly was included -- but I have to say, there were a lot of things on the day of moving that could have been handled better. My fiancé was running loads of things to donate at goodwill and so I was left to try and orchestrate most of the packing and loading by myself with an 8 month old baby to contend with. We went through a run down initially of what should be packed but obviously I couldn't be in more than one place at a time, thus things got tricky because they were packing in multiple rooms at the same time and I couldn't monitor everything. Quite a few things got packed and loaded into the pod that weren't supposed to be ‍. Now in all fairness, this was definitely partially my fault since we didn't have everything sectioned off or clearly divided into what went where. But at the price point of $195 per hour, I would expect them to ask before doing something if there was any confusion. Beyond that, they packed my packing label stickers, so 3/4 of the boxes were not labeled . Also, they broke some of my daughter's toys and stepped on her brand new watercolor palette, denting the outside tin beyond repair, also dropped her custom made watercolor palette and it opened with all the paints falling out (anyone who does art will tell you what a pain this is as you can't easily tell which color is what when they are dry & it takes a good hour or two to reorganize) -- none of this was even mentioned to us -- we only found out after they had already left and my daughter came home to find her things in that state . They also packed all her toys, which wasn't supposed to happen. In addition, the way things were taped up wasn't exactly careful or professional... tape going every which way on all the boxes and large items, with the ends not secure. The way the pod was packed also didn't seem very secure... the way the rope/cords were used seemed iffy. I'm almost afraid to see how our things survive the long distance move but I guess we'll see . Overall I'd expect this kind of help from friends and family, not a professional service. If I ever move again (hopefully never again lol), I will use College Hunks, as they are highly recommended by a couple of my friends (they're a bit more expensive, which is why I didn't go with them to begin with ‍). read more

Mark is an Animal! I Moved from Cali to Court d'Alene Id in U Pack trailer. Two before him wanted $20 extra for gas! And were not available for 3 days, called Mark within an hour Mark was here, another hour and he had my part of the trailer empty, Cleaned up! Excellent job done, mother is ill, and Mark will be my number one man to go to move and haul off what ever I need to get rid off ! PLUS no hidden charges! Great guy Use Mark! These folks were recommended as the best packers in the area, so I had great expectations of a good job. Three young guys came out who seemed very competent and confident. They got to work very efficiently, and assured me that we had plenty of space in the pods. Mid-morning they told me that things were getting tight, and it was clear that some large pieces hadn't been packed yet. Once they ran over the 4 planned hours, the packing effort got a bit frantic. They ended the day after 6 hours of work not being able to fit in a bed headboard and footboard. A friend and I had to drive up from Moscow ID and spend the next day repacking three of the cubes to fit the bed pieces in and used the dozen furniture pads and half-dozen ratchet straps the packers did not use to secure items to prevent damage. We had to delay cube pickup by a day, which meant one day more without our stuff after we arrived on the east coast. This job cost over $900. I detailed my issues in an email to the company, asking for a partial refund, and have heard nothing. I gave them 3 stars instead of 2 because they did a good job on most of the stuff they packed. read more

We used them to help us unload our truck. They were great. Super communicative. Arrived right on time. Did everything we needed. It was super hard work. We had a ton of very heavy boxes that we wanted moved into the basement, down really narrow small stairs and put into specific rooms. They did it all with a smile on their face. read more
