I've been working out at this location of Snap Fitness for about six years at this point and I…read morehonestly can't see myself going anywhere else unless I move from the neighborhood. While it's a small no frills gym, it does have what I need to get a good workout in. I love that it's open 24/7, feels very secure, the staff knows who you are, and you tend to see the same people in there all the time. While there isn't much talking going on because everyone is in their zone, it's rather nice and gives off a community vibe. They recently got some new equipment which is why I decided it was the perfect time for a review update. After years of wishing they had a stairmaster, they got one! That was probably the machine I was most excited about. I will say that being a short gal, I was disappointed that a few of the newer machines don't adjust small enough for me to use them. Example, the leg press. Even with altering the seat, it's too small. That was a machine I used weekly and while I can workout the same muscles in different ways, I was bummed. That said, their staff is great and said they appreciated the feedback and would work on finding ways to accommodate. A few other tidbits... There is a parking garage right next store and you can get the first hour free. They have a few cubbies and a couple lockers, but not mens/womens locker rooms.. Although, the gender neutral bathrooms are much appreciated. They do have trainers you can hire (that's actually how I started coming here). All in all, I'm still very pleased with this Snap Fitness and I'm grateful for how welcoming they are. Shout out to Phil! There's never a day where I walk out of there in a bad mood.

The atmosphere is great with upbeat music playing that makes me wanna dance between sets. Phil keeps the energy up and the place looking tidy and inviting. I cannot believe I have become one of those people who looks forward to working out and can't imagine life without sweating. I can honestly say I'm utterly in love with my life right now. Thank you!

He has been great..... coaching me in strength training but also nutrition, cardio, and flexibility. His depth of knowledge of the human body is very deep. Every time I whine about a particular exercise hurting my knees... or back... or hips, he knows five other exercises to work the particular muscle group a different way without pain. Truthfully, I hate every minute if it and I leave exhausted. But I have seen huge results. I am stronger, mor limber, and my muscle tone us popping out. The belly? Still working on it but definitely smaller. Juan is patient and encouraging. A great trainer.

Highly recommend this gym! I've been training with a friend here for just under a year…read more Juan really shines when it comes to preventing injuries and stretching. He showed me stretches to help with knee soreness when running, how to engage the right muscles after sitting all day, and my favorite stretch to align my shoulders. Prices are reasonable (when I was there $75 for an individual session, $50 each for a group of two) and Juan is great at having a plan for each session yet being flexible to individual requests. (I also met another trainer Lindsi who I would be excited about working with as well.) A nice perk is that they offer more than an hour of training -- Juan follows up, offers nutrition guidance, encourages you to get other exercise, and provides advice on home repairs (okay, maybe just me on that last one.) TLDR: Juan is caring, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun! Definitely a good investment.

You literally cant get a workout in. Im paying $70/month to not be able to work out. On top of that, the "30-days before they cancel your membership" after you've requested cancelation is just a BS way to charge you another $70 before you leave them. Lasty, dont use their lockers because they malfuntion constantly and you cant get your stuff out. Nothing like waiting around forever on a maintenance person so you can get your car keys and leave. This happened to both my wife and i on separate occasions. This gym sucks...

They have a decent sized space, and the equipment is well maintained and thoughtfully placed. You can definitely get a good workout in, especially if your workout mainly consists of dumbbells and/or racks - they have more than enough of each. As a daily driver where you've crafted your workouts around the equipment they have, this would be a great 5-star gym. That said, as a visitor I found that they're missing a lot of machines that are table-stakes for a bodybuilding gym, and that made my experience personally frustrating. I have a workout plan that uses what I'd consider to be very standard machines, but found myself having to have to make multiple modifications throughout the workout. In one "pull day", I had to find substitutions for more than half of my exercises - they don't have a preacher curl bench (how?), nor do they have a pec deck (how?), nor do they have that large, versatile Life Fitness jungle that has like 8 pulleys around it. It was increasingly disappointing as I kept running into the issue over and over again. The location and facility is nice enough that I'll probably continue to use it during my travel, but... somewhat begrudgingly.
