We pull up on Sunday and the security code doesn't work. We try for 20 minutes to try every variation of the code as well as trying to call every number we have...Nothing. So we end up taking our camper back to MN with us. We talk to the idiots on Monday and they say oh we store campers that big on our other lot. No one ever mentioned that to us and it wasn't in any of the paperwork we had. Guy says no problem we will cancel the contract and refund your money in one week. Nothing. The next month comes AND THEY CHARGE US AGAIN. Emails and calls back and forth and they are always handling it. 60 days later they have over $300 of our money and they never provided any service to us.

We have had a climate controlled unit at this facility for over a year now. Went to pay the bill…read moreonline and found the rate was $8 higher than it had previously been. Also, $15 higher than the units lists for online. I called to find out why the change and why we were not notified. The lady that answered (so, I am assuming, the one running the main desk) told me, she had mailed out 80 notifications and not one had received it. Must be the post office. That is who she is blaming. She also told me, they had reviewed local prices and had to raise their rates to stay inline with everyone else. Interesting, since I found rate $20 less for other places in town with our size unit, climate controlled. I was also informed, that new renters would get a reduced rate, but they would raise it to the rate we are paying $129, with 90 days. When I mentioned, there is no mention of this online, she informed me that they don't have to notify tenants. I am passing this on, so anyone interested will know how shady they are.

The experienced team of movers (all with years of experience, not just college kids) was courteous, engaging, and most of all, they were very careful with all our belongings. They were not the lowest quote, but they were worth every cent! The truck was carefully packed, all the furniture was wrapped, and we had NO damage! Upon vacating, of the FIVE light fixtures in the hallway where our unit was located, 1.5 light fixtures were operational. Other hallways at this location are in the same type of disrepair. In addition, the manager chose to not have us complete a vacating form although it still states on the exit gate that one must do so before vacating; nor was she willing or able to prorate for the month with 20 days left. We have attempted for the last 2 years to see that this lighting issue was resolved, not just for us but for other renters as well. We surely cannot be the only renters that would have liked to be able to see inside their unit without a flashlight. Renters beware.

I also tried to pre-pay and was told process was to pay on moving day. In hindsight, I should have sent him over to complete the rental agreement before the stress of finals began. Reservations are required to have student name and contact phone number. The reservationist never mentioned a confirmation call would be made by the property manager. My child had no idea what the property manager was talking about when she called to confirm. So, the property manager canceled his reservation and rented the unit to someone else. Hard lesson learned on my child's part and made for a VERY stressful day trying to find another unit.
