Paul, an electrician at AE did a thorough inspection and showed me what needed to be changed. Drake (owner) promptly got back to me with a very reasonable estimate. Paul (and later Nick), removed old, dangerous wiring and replaced it with new, modern wire. Paul replaced all switches as well. Both men were professional, honest and friendly. After the job was finished, Drake indicated that the job would not cost me as much as he had originally estimated. I was impressed with his honestly and the final cost! Had significant…read moretrouble with installing recessed lighting in our ceiling resulting in two drilled holes in the roof, covered up with caulking while also ripping drywall from the ceiling. I had contractors come in to repair some of the damage caused (not all) which was higher than the value of the work he did. I still offered to pay him something to at least cover materials when he seemed reasonable about what had happened. This has resulted in insults and possibly threats from him on how he would get his money back. Response to owner: nice mix of truths and outright lies. I've sent over the full cost of the drywall repairs for him to see. The cost I told to him was only for the excessive damage he caused. Not even all of the damage he caused. He never told my wife about the holes in the roof she just happened to be around when they started panicking but she wasn't sure what was going on. I checked later after she told me something fishy had happened and I had to call him after he left for him to acknowledge the holes in the roof.

He came a few days later and reviewed the jobs, finalized the quote, and we scheduled the work which included trouble shooting garage lighting issues and installing 6 new fixtures in the garage; installing 5 new overhead light fixtures in the house including a entryway chandelier; replacing an outdoor outlet and security light; installing several inside dimmer switches; and adding a 50Amp breaker, 240v, NEMA 14-50 outlet for my EV car charger. The prices were very reasonable, lower than what I expected for the number of jobs needing done. Very professional, on time, efficient, and quality work. Will definitely use him again.

I posted through Yelp looking for someone to install an outlet to replace a range in my kitchen. I had a few people reach out, and I reached outside of Yelp as well (which was a failure) - but Jason hit me up right away, had a scheduled time ready to come over and check out what I needed. I *assumed* it'd be a quick once over of the project, an estimate, and I'd continue my hunt when I don't get a call back. Instead, he was ready to go when he showed up - he saw the work that needed done, gave me an estimate for time + parts and hammered it out FAST (including running out to pick up a couple parts). So before he left, I had one OTHER immediate electrical project I needed - I attempted to fix my ceiling fan light and it no longer worked - he found it was a faulty socket (something I didn't know to check!) and tightened my wire work, and had it hammered out as well! Plain and simple - Jason was in and out, and knocked two items that have been weighing on me since the new year. Buyer Beware... I hired Gibson's Residential Electrical Services, LLC to replace outdoor light…read morefixtures and fix a dead outdoor outlet. Thai, the owner, came to my home and gave me a quote. After multiple scheduling issues with him, he finally came and did the work. First, he replaced my post light. In doing so, he snapped a piece of the post in half and tried to hide it. When I asked him what happened to the post and how it got broken, he said that he wasn't aware of it. Then, when I told him that I viewed the video from my camera, it clearly shows him breaking it. Then, he admitted that he had lied, but never offered to make it right. I had to request the money to replace the piece. The light itself was installed backwards and missing a screw, so it does not sit properly. He unnecessarily drilled a hole in the light post itself. Again, after viewing the video, he clearly says there is a screw missing and leaves it that way crooked on the post. Finally, during the estimate he told me that for $75 he would fix the outside outlet. I paid him the $75 and he told me that he has no idea what's wrong with it, and can't get it to work but still expected payment as a troubleshooting fee, even though he couldn't troubleshoot it. I feel completely taken by this guy. He knew the reason I hired him was because my husband is battling cancer and currently going through chemo and cannot do this work himself. I feel that he took advantage. When I brought all of these issues up to him he did nothing to try to make it right, and would not even come back to fix the light. He basically told me that when I hired him for another job, he would come back and fix it. I would normally never make a post like this, but I truly feel like this guy is not a professional, and I hope no one else has the same experience I did. He offered no solutions when I brought the issues to his attention, took my money, and all he could say was I apologize after being caught in lies.
