One thing I cannot forget about this clinic is the day that I took my puppy in for her first round of shots. I went in and the tech was on the phone. The phone call lasted a little while, and my arms were getting tired, so I put my 15 pound pup. Lo and behold, an unaltered male rottweiler comes in. I understand that dogs are dogs. I just didn't like the fact that the dog was allowed to walk around unsupervised, especially as a larger dog. Said larger dog intimidated my little girl pup, making her tuck her tail and hide behind me, but all is good. Dogs are dogs. This is where I got upset. Clearly the tech was on the phone with someone who was hard of hearing, because she kept repeating the answer to the clients(?) question. The tech began to get an attitude with the person on the phone. Eventually, the tech and the clients calk was over, and to my absolute horror, the tech said 'bitch', referring to the client on the phone. Another problem I had that day, was that I asked for a parvo shot, flea pill, and dewormer. Guess what I didn't get. I only got the patio shot because the tech didn't believe me about my puppy's age, not her breed. I had gotten her as an 8 week pup in December. She went to get her first round of shots with the girl that had given her to me, and I was going for her last parvo, then coming back the next week for rabies. My puppy was around 3 months old when this occurred. The tech said that she "didn't look like a 3 month old", and when I told her that she was a small dog because she is lab/Aussie shepherd, she said 'no, your dog is a rottweiler'. I know my dogs breed. I know my dogs parents breeds. Just stop. I went back another time for a nail trim, and the other techs were very sweet. Terry is just the sour one.

They are attentive and quick to act. I never feel like I'm in a rush and they always explain exactly what is going on and what is needed. And pricewise they are very competitive compared to other Veterinary Clinics And they are even open on Saturdays but they do close early I think noon but I'm not sure.

The care and compassion during that procedure was equally as kind (it actually took place at Advanced Animal but the Waco team was connected the entire time she underwent surgery and then again when the cancer came back and again when we said goodbye to her). The support staff are knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and understanding. I cannot recommend Waco enough. We have another veterinarians office within walking distance of our house, but we insist on staying with Waco because of all the reasons above.

The staff was so friendly and of course Shadow was his charming self until it came to the exam lol. They were gentle with him and gave him plenty of treats afterwards . His Doctor was friendly and very enthusiastic about Shadow being in such good shape . He has nice teeth , clean ears, clear lungs . Knowing all of this made me relax more. He got a clean bill of health with the exception that he's FIV positive. Shadow is the only cat in our house and he's strictly a indoor cat. Even with that he can and will live a full life . One of the ladies did agree with me that he looks like he's part Russian Blue. In terms of cost the initial exam was free because we adopted him from LHS . I did pay for some additional testing and I think it was a fair price . Shadow does have pet insurance for those just in case moments hopefully they'll be none of those. Shadow will continue to to there for check ups and future shots .
