We used Durango Mountain Realty and specifically, Rachel Brinley, to help us find a home at…read morePurgatory Resort. To say that Rachel is an excellent realtor would be a huge understatement! We've bought and sold many homes over the years and the number of realtors that I'd recommend and/or use again is very small; however, Rachel is among this distinguished list. It took us a few years before we were ready to buy at Purgatory Resort, but every time we came to look at homes (usually short notice), Rachel either found time or made time to show us property. She was always extremely professional and very well prepared with all the facts - on the rare occasion when she didn't have an answer to one of my many questions, she followed up quickly with an answer. When we were finally ready to make an offer, Rachel continued with thorough analysis and expert negotiating skills. Her dedicated support continued to the closing table and beyond ... she has continued to help us with information and contacts as we've gotten settled in our home. In summary, I offer my highest recommendation for Rachel Brinley and Durango Mountain Realty.

Adam…read moreconsistently and without complaint kept contacting us with new listings and kept us informed of market conditions in connection with the recession. This information over time helped us to jump on an opportunity when it came up last winter when we were finally ready to purchase. Adam had all units with our qualifications lined up and ready to view when we arrived in Telluride. He made sure that we saw every possible property, even after we made our decision. Adam even helped with closing by helping to track down information from the homeowners association and flood zone information. We owned a previous unit in Mountain Village several years ago and had a poor experience from one of the larger brokers in the area. The service and commitment that Adam shows is far superior to other agents in my experience. I would highly recommend Adam Black for anyone purchasing property in Telluride. Brian Warwick

A tent keeps out the mosquitoes and cools off at night instantly. This condo was warm in the night even with the screen-less balcony door wide open with a fan blowing *enter mosquitoes and cigarette smoke all night*. I understand they didn't design these places with summers in mind, but come on. A $300 portable AC unit would do the trick. We ended up paying about $250/night for this place. Complete rip off. Oh and some outlets and light bulbs didn't work. Reviews from at least a year about on booking.com say the same thing. Hasn't been fixed. Whatever entity is managing this property is getting away with a borderline scam. Purgatory needs to stop booking this place. Especially during the summer.
