This place is a welcome sight for parents with young kids. It is all carpeted and easy to monitor young ones. I appreciate the low music so it's not hard to listen for my kid. The snack store is a nice touch if your little one gets hungry or thirsty. We are looking forward to returning. read more

Awesome! We brought our 1.5 yr old toddler on our trip to Asheville, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. First of all, you only pay for the children, which is awesome! They also offer a military discount, so our family enjoyed play for 7$. I love love love that they only allow socks in the play areas. It keeps everything so nice and clean looking. The place seemed amazingly clean, and so padded. They have a spot just for those under three, and my little girl just adored it. I also thought how much seating they had for the adults was phenomenal. You had comfy seats inside the areas, but also on the outside. Some of the outside seats even had tables, so you could let your older ones play while you worked. The food was pricier and you cant being anything of your own in, but I suppose that's understandable. If I lived nearby I'd be here all the time! read more

Had a private play birthday party here and it was amazing!!! The silverware didn't get packed in the boxes to eat cake and they took care of whatever I needed, no problem. The birthday girl said it was the best party ever!!! The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The front desk lady was amazingly nice!!! Even got our balloons down we lost to the high ceiling in the castle party room. Will be back for sure!!!! read more

My son still asks to go back here months later and is adamant about taking his cousins here this summer. Yeah, it's a bit pricey and the snack bar is Disney prices, but honestly I've been to about a half-dozen of these and this one is the size of all the other ones combined. The space is great and we were happy to find somewhere to play on a rainy day. But the COVID and masking protocols were terrible. In this county there is an indoor mask mandate, but on the door masks were 'recommended' not required. Only one of the front desk staff was masked. At least 25% (and likely more) parents were unmasked in the play area. An indoor play area for children, the most vulnerable of our community. Disgraceful. Next door garden center: masks required with a basket of masks at the door for those that forgot. But here? Filled with kids? Masks should be required. Don't go if you care about your child's health. read more

It's been two years since I first came here and I still love it as much as I did before. They added another fenced in area to keep the big kid area contained, which I really like. Indoor playgrounds are my sanctuary when it comes to keeping the kids busy when the sun is blaring heat outside. Kids are required to wear socks here so don't forget to bring a pair, although if you do they sell them at the front. They also have food to sell, and an adult area if your kids are older and you have the luxury of letting them play on their own. If you need to keep an eye on them, there is plenty of seating nearby. Love this place. Comfy seats for parents, confined area for kids to run and play- and you can basically see each area where you sit. Bathe in disinfectant afterwards cause a bunch of germy kids in one place...? Yeeeeah. Your entry is good for all day so if you don't want pizza and burgers you can go out for lunch then come back in. If only each adult seat has an outlet nearby to charge your device. I was visiting from Houston and my sister took me and my toddler here. I was SUPER impressed. It was much better than any of the places I've been to in the Houston area. Pros: 1. EXTREMELY CLEAN I saw the employees cleaning multiple times and I was only there for about 2 hours. Seriously pristine. The bathrooms were also very clean and they had a family restroom as well. 2. AWESOME PLAY STRUCTURES They had tons of stuff for my toddler to do. Usually there's only a small section for kids her size, but they had a lot. There was also stuff for older kids. I'd say it's geared mainly toward small children... Maybe up to 8 years? 3. FOOD AND DRINKS Although we didn't partake, they had a nice concession area which included fancy beer. I will definitely be taking my husband with us next time! 4. COMFY SPOTS FOR GROWN UPS There was ample, comfy seating for adults strategically placed around the facility to allow you to watch your kids in comfort. 5. GIFT SHOP They have a gift shop up front with lots of cute stuff, including Melissa and Doug stuff. CONS None that I can think of JUST REMEMBER TO TAKE SOCKS! WOW! I wish I could give this place 10 stars I would! I want to start by saying this place is spotless. Not a speck of dirt to be seen. No stains on the carpet, no wear to the wonderful play equipment either. I followed my 2 year old son throughout the larger play equipment and didn't find so much as a scuff! They have two closed in play areas, toddlers and bigger kids. The toddler equipment was soft and gave just enough of a challenge to keep them busy for hours. This area is in a safely confined space. The big kids are is wonderful too! Plenty of space to spread out for age appropriate play and great slides. I did take my son into that area and never felt like he would be mowed down by the bigger kids. The multi-level climber gave my little guy quite the work out as he must have made 15 trips up and down. We stayed about 2.5 hrs and my son was asleep before we left the parking lot. read more

Every metro area needs one of these, seriously. Do you have a toddler or a kinesthetic child who cannot be satisfied by video game machines? This place is a great option for a parent whose kid needs to play somewhere indoors that is bigger or more fun than the house. They have lots of climbing and bounce house options but they also have little role play areas - kitchen, police station, fire station, grocery store. They have costumes for the kids to dress up. They have a separate, fenced off area for kids under four. They have the good sense to fence off the entire play area from the entrance, pay-for-stuff area. The price was very reasonable for my toddler, who was occupied for two hours. That's two hours of happy toddler, in a place that's probably better childproofed than the house! read more

(almonds, raisins, banana chips) I told the gentleman my son has allergies and he said "I'm sorry, then everyone would be able to bring snacks. I hope you understand." Apparently you can't bring your own snacks.... In all the playhouses I have been to, I have never seen or heard of such a thing. My son is gluten and dairy intolerant, so he can't always eat what's available. I went to their snack bar- not ONE thing I could buy for him. Nada. It was all junk. Wont be returning. The play area is fairly clean and the equipment is well maintained. That being said, the rest is lacking. The large play area is labeled as appropriate for 4 to 12 yr olds, but 4 to 10 yrs old would be better. The older kids are not interested in the play equipment, they only want to run and roughhouse with each other. I saw a boy about 12 knock down 2 little girls when I was there. As another reviewer noted, there is no, and I mean NO employee supervision in the play areas. Although there is a sign with rules posted, and one of them clearly states NO RUNNING, this rule is not enforced by management. The enclosed space is too small and the equipment too juvenile for 12 yr olds, and management needs to be observant and ask people to leave who cannot follow the rules. read more

My grand kids love this place and so do I. It is very clean. The play equipment is very well maintained. It is well laid out. There is a nice sitting area for adults that includes comfortable chairs or chairs at tables. Has wifi and 2 tv's. The food is expensive and you are not allowed to bring food into the venue. I brought snacks with us so we went to the car to eat and take a short break. The admission is a little high but it is for all day. You can leave and come back inside. The employees are very friendly. Although some kids were running, I didn't see an issue with it. I do think the upper age where a child would be entertained by this equipment would be closer about 10 years old. I just wish it was closer to my home. read more

First off - I can't believe that I'm the first person to review this place! I took my (almost) 2 year old daughter here today and she LOVED it! It appeared to be an extremely clean and all around well taken care of facility. The entrance fee is reasonable for her age, but I do think it increases for children over the age of 3. There is a nice area that is dedicated for children under 4 and then the rest of it is for all ages. There are several large bounce houses in the main area and one smaller bounce house in the under 4 area. There are adorable little houses (fire station, doctor's office, hair salon, etc), each with their own theme for children to enjoy. There are comfortable chairs for parents to hang out in and watch their kids from. There were 2 minor things that I would personally to see changed: 1) They do not allow any outside snacks or drinks in any part of the facility. They have a cafe with food and drinks for purchase. Their reasoning is something about being able to clean the carpet if they control what foods might fall on the floor. Other indoor play spaces that I've been to in the past have a designated area where food and drinks can be consumed. I prefer having the designated area so that I don't have to either leave and eat outside, or be required to purchase a snack for my daughter. 2) I wish they had lockers to store personal belongings in. They do have cubbies, which is nice, but I'd prefer somewhere I could safely lock my purse so I don't have to carry it around with me. In summary, I think this is a great place and I will definitely visit again. read more

This is by far the nicest and cleanest children's play place that I have ever been too. They serve Starbucks coffee and had a whole day admission policy where you can come and go as you please. All I can say is WOW! when I first came in to this place, I was like, *this is where I'll be taking my kids all the time.* it is huge compared to other places I've took my kids to play, and number 1 that was most surprising is the cleanliness of this place. A fun place for little children with lots of play options. We went on a rainy day which filled play time for our 4 yr old granddaughters. Unfortunately, supervision in the play area is somewhat deficient. There was a group of older (7-9) kids playing tag which resulted in high speed running with no focus on who would be in their way. Several small children were knocked down, fortunately none were hurt more than tears. I would definitely not allow that game to take place in that indoor area. Where were their parents and where were was the management. My wife went to the concession stand and purchased food for the girls. I had given her two five dollar bills. She paid for her purchases with the two fives but received change for a five and a one dollar bill. I had no one dollar bills to give her for purchases so I know the attendant was wrong. The worker insisted that she gave her a five and a one and refused to give her the correct change. A minor money loss, but it left a bad taste. If you go, count your change in front of the worker. We left because of the physical dangers for our grandchildren and the ill treatment of the food manager. read more

My 2 year old cousin had to pee so we pulled over to let her. So we stopped at this place because we are 2 hours from home. I took her in because she was crying she had to pee so bad. I asked to use the restroom and the lady got an attitude with me and told me that only paying customers could use the restroom. I will never come here again. The worker was too rude. We have a child who went mobile very early. I mean, 8 months and he's a walkin professional. But with great mobility comes great responsibility, and as far as listening to commands, our son was not quite on the level. This made it incredibly difficult to take him to an outside park, where understanding and responding to NO comes in serious handy (ie. No running in the street, No eating that stick, No taking that other kid's toy), and we were just plain not there yet. Enter, Mountain Play Lodge! This place is amazing! It's cheap, it's indoors, it's clean. There's a separate place for little ones and bigger kids, so they can play at their own individual pace and not get into each other's way. It's one of the only places, besides our own home, where we can let the baby play and roam and explore, and not have to constantly follow right behind him saying "no". It's a yes place. Yes, climb on that. Yes, explore that area. Yes, play with that thing. Yes, it's all ok. And I don't know about you, but our baby has enough NO everyday. It's time for a little yes. read more

Been to this place several times and although it is very fun with lots of activities kids love, I spoke with staff and they only fully sterilize once a week! They dust and pick up every day, but when you think of the volume of kids that go through that place it's just asking for nasty germs to be passed around. Last two times we've gone we've all gotten sick (and I'm stay at home with two toddlers so they aren't around other sick kids often)- one cold and one flu. On vacation with my 7 year old, and there was a problem back at the office. I set up camp here with pretty decent wifi and fixed the work problem while my son happily played for 2 hours. As far as he is concerned, it was all part of the plan and vacation was perfect. yeah it cost me $12, but I would have spent $5 on a starbucks drink to use their wifi and he would have been bored for 2 hours. Fantastic emergency plan for checking in with the office while on vacation, or maybe just getting some work done in general while your kid played. (they have a Disney soundtrack going, which my son loved, but bring headphones if you want to concentrate) Staff were nice and I saw several of them cleaning stuff while the kids played.
