My car could not be towed and needed to be flat bedded to a local body/repair shop. Wade Edward's was on the scene 10 minutes after receiving my roadside assistance call. The second occurrence was with the rental car I had to replace my car, which had a tire blow out. After waiting in the phone for almost a hour and a half with the rental company's roadside assistance, never speaking to a human being, I decided to hang up and just call Wade. Once again, Wade came out to give to change my tire within 15 minutes of my call. He was great to work with in both instances. The first night, he took the time to help me and my dog, who was riding with me in my car, get to our local destination by around midnight. As for the tire blow out, when he realized it was on a rental and that I would be responsible for the repairs, he invited me to come into his dealership to have his team see if the tire could be repaired at no charge. Unfortunately, I ended up needing to replace a rental car tire but his staff took great care of me. Awesome experience. While I'm not certain of this, I suspect they gave me the "Friends and Family" discount. I really appreciate all his and his team's help. I'm a long way from home and it was nice to meet some people who are just good people and cared about me/us. If I was in the market for a new car, I would be very confident in giving him and Edward's Automotive my business. Maybe I will anyway.

And yes, I am posting this review in several different places, because if the public isnt aware, they will be able to freely continue their policy of terrible customer service. The policy of Bergeron is essentially, that if you did not buy your Toyota from them, you cannot expect any sort of service from them what-so-ever. When you call to schedule service, their first question is: "Did you buy your vehicle from us?" If you did not, they say they'll call you back, and they rarely do. Any service appt is scheduled out at a minimum a month later if you are fortunate enough for them to call you back. As a result, I and many others I've heard from have vowed to never buy from that dealership, or have our vehicles serviced there. Instead, I am forced to travel to Rhinelander, WI (about an hour and a half away) to have my Highlander serviced.

Unless you like getting ripped off, go somewhere else! We dropped our vehicle off and were provided a loaner vehicle. Scott then offered for a driver to bring our Expedition back to WI for us and then picked up the loaner vehicle. Being over two hours away this was genuinely appreciated!! We also asked since they had our vehicle to do an oil change and Scott covered that for us at no cost. Yes, this vehicle was a large purchase but was still a used vehicle and most dealerships would have said, "you get what you get" because it's used. Riverside took care of the service to the door, the oil change, and the loaner...nothing came out of our pocket. We couldn't be happier with our OVERALL experience with Riverside Auto Iron Mountain. The entire buying experience went well, and they were very fair with our trade-in and made 2 hour drive up there very well worth it. Then to stand by their word and take care of the paint issue on the door and accommodate us like they did is almost unheard of. With all the dealerships in our area (i.e., Green Bay and Appleton) I can almost guarantee not one of them would have done this for us so highly recommend anyone to Riverside Auto Iron Mountain!! I typically do not write reviews but had to in this situation as just the buying experience alone was enough to give Scott and Mike 5 stars but then how they handled the repair service took it to a whole new level. I purchased a certified pre-owned Rav4 from them just under a month ago…read more This is a very friendly family-owned and run dealership. They have been open since the late 60's. The prices were exact with NADA prices, which is more accurate than Blue Book on Toyotas and in our area. I searched inventory of the entire UP and Wisconsin, and they were on track with the others. They were slightly over the current NADA price (online is updated weekly, while their book only comes out monthly, which is why they were a couple of hundred dollars high), so they came down to match the online price. Other than that, the dealership isn't interested in negotiating. Toyotas are in high-demand and hold their value, so that's just something that you have to accept when purchasing a Toyota anywhere. The employees do not work off of commission since it is 3 or 4 siblings that own it. They all are part-owners and take a salary. That means no pushy salespeople to deal with. My purchase was the most friendly and low-stress car purchase that I have ever made. When I came to pick up the car, one of the owners sat in the car with my wife and I and went over every switch, dial, and maintenance thing that he was able to address. He also showed us how the seats, etc. work. A week after purchasing the car I went out to start it and the battery was dead. I gave them a call to find out what I needed to do since it was certified pre-owned. They sent over an employee to jump-start the car, take it back to Toyota, and leave me a loaner car for the day. When I got to the dealership at 5:00 pm they had taken care of the issue and it was ready to go. Since they are a very small dealership, they mostly only work on cars from their customers. I also have a Honda fit, and they told me if I buy from them then they will consider me part of their family and will work on any vehicle that I have. They said that they will fix cars from people who don't buy from them, but they stay very busy just fixing their customers cars that they rarely have openings for other people. If you are interested in buying a quality car from a quality dealership, then I recommend them.
