I returned hoping my kids would experience the same feeling, but unfortunately, our recent one-night stay was a major disappointment. We paid approximately $600 for Room #614. We specifically requested the 600s but were initially assigned a room in the 400s before eventually being moved. The room had far too many issues for the price: filthy floors that turned our bare feet black, a filthy master bedroom deck, a broken front-door lock, no AC, TVs that didn't work, a strange smell upstairs, uncomfortable furniture, a loose shelf, dusty fan, poor-quality utensils, and no basic items like potholders or sharp knives. The food pricing was also difficult to justify: a kids' chicken nugget and fries meal was around $45, while my burger was $38 without fries. The beach access and ocean views are still beautiful, but those positives don't make up for the overall decline in cleanliness, maintenance, and service. It genuinely makes me sad to see a place that meant so much to our family change this much. We were local and only stayed one night, but I would be hesitant to recommend an extended stay under the current conditions.

He stopped by often to check on us, answered any and all our questions, and made us feel welcome and cared for. My dad isn't one to crack a smile easily, so seeing him smile and even chuckle while talking with the manager made the whole experience a 10/10 for me. It was my first experience with mountain mikes pizza, we got some coupons in the mail and thought we should try this location. We ordered for delivery. Delivery was fast, driver was very nice and food was warm and delicious. We even received a note saying THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING YOUR LOCAL BUSINESS and there was another coupon for 25% off. No Salad, No Beer, No Way! We stopped in hoping for a full meal -- pizza, salad, and maybe a beer. Unfortunately, no salad bar, no beer on tap or bottled. The pizza was decent but not enough to make up for the missing staples we expect from a good pizza spot. The atmosphere was flat, almost like they gave up on providing a complete dining experience.
