I was served our salads from an online order in styrofoam containers. This product is banned in Santa Cruz County. According to Christina Horvat as Zero Waste Outreach Coordinator, she has been to this location in the past and requested that they follow the regulation, ORDINANCE NO. 4970 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF SANTA CRUZ AMENDING CHAPTER 5.46 OF THE COUNTY CODE PERTAINING TO THE USE AND SALE OF POLYSTYRENE FOAM. we often get pepperoni pizza at Village host in Seascape Village. But I also also normally like Mountain Mike's, Pizza, for their crisp bowl like pepperoni. This past, Friday, December 1, 2023, at 5 PM we picked up a large pepperoni. It was pathetic. Walked in on a quiet late Sunday morning to pick up an order. Went to use restroom. Was met with a curt yell from across the room telling me the restrooms are closed. Went to the counter to pick up my order. I asked why the restrooms were closed and she said they are closed to the public by a woman who later identified herself as the store manager 'Rhea'. I said I was there to pick up an order, I was a customer and was still denied access to the restroom. Now mind you, Im a very hygienic person who lives in this neighborhood and who orders from this establishment frequently. I also doordash on the side. Rhea told me that people who doordash always trash the bathrooms and so now they won't let them use the restroom. Now Rhea, this is for you--how often do you get doordashers versus in store diners? Isn't it more likely that your in store customers are using the restrooms with much more frequency than dashers?? Also, just so we're all clear--you denied me access to the bathroom BEFORE you knew I was a dasher and AFTER I mentioned I was picking up an order. We stopped by yesterday. It was late . Our daughter liked breadsticks and they had none, so we had to make do with garlic bread - while we had a medium veggie . Both were well made . When I requested a few cherry tomatoes from the salad bar for her , they gladly provided . Not only was the food great , they noticed we were having difficult time feeding our kid and the lady at the front got a side of Churros . I was so surprised by their kindness and glad that our daughter had a full meal between the tomatoes and churros . When I offered to pay for the side , they said it was complimentary. We felt welcome and cared for.. will definitely visit again when we are camping at New Brighton or Sea Scape . The parking lot is big enough to accommodate a RV. started out with issues from the get go with scattered good pizzas however so many problems and the crap shoot getting a pizza. Hours of operation to 10 pm are not honored to the general public however the staff serves their friends after the place is allegedly closed. On top we have gotten some really sour sauce on our pizza's indicating it age in addition to being served the wrong size pizza's. For a facility asking top dollar for a pizza its quite amazing how poor the quality and service has become here. Seems like no one here gives two cents and just wants a pay check. read more

I was disappointed by my first experience with Mountain Mike's Pizza of Aptos. I'm a teacher at a local school and ordered pizza or a celebration for my students. I called the day before to arrange pick up at 1100 on Friday, April 23. I asked if the pick up time was too early and was laughed at by the man on the phone as he said, "Of course not!" As a teacher I was told I'd receive a discount because I was ordering for my students. I sent a parent the to pick up the pizzas the following morning at 11 and the place was still closed. Pizzas weren't ready until 11:30 and no discount was given. I wasn't able to be there to pick up and communicate my frustrations because I was in class. Moving forward I'll stick with Pleasure Point Pizza. They always give us a discount and their pizzas are always ready on time. The drive is worth it. read more

We're Mountain Mike regulars. Pizza took 50 min after ordering and 20 minutes after "promise time" to be ready. Asking let to the answer that it's dinner time. Common, it's a business process with an algorithm which should not be 20 min off. This results in frustration and violation of expectations which have been set by the web site. read more

This is the third time I have ordered pizza from this Mountain Mike's. I was encouraged by them to get the app so that I could get rewards. Their pizza is very good, but I'm on a tight budget so I wanted to use a coupon. Used the app to order but there isn't any place to put in the coupon so I paid for the pizza then called the store and was told they could adjust the price when I got there. This turned out to be untrue and I left feeling pretty pissed off. So don't pay for the pizza through the app if you want to use a coupon. We discovered this place when they first opened here. We used to order Straw Hat, which is pedestrian pizza (not horrible, but not great). But we tried them, and I ordered the Snowu Alps, which is the best pizza I've ever had! I described it to my husband as tasting like a steakhouse pizza. I usually don't have issues, but I walk in to get a pick up order and a customer is sitting on the bench, right inside the door, with no mask on. I ask the worker if they were just going to allow the man to wait inside with no mask and they didn't do anything except act clueless. My order was not ready on time, which I understand due to COVID but the customer service was extremely poor for resolving a simple mask issue.
