Do not order from Wayfair if you're in MMD's delivery area. I order a lot online and I always give the benefit of a doubt with services. I've gotten a complete different reason/story why they never show up despite a delivery date text that I've confirmed. Missing work to wait for the delivery costs money. There's absolutely no accountability within their business. Check BBB, it's all terrible- even the 3-4 star ratings are not flattering. Even better, Wayfair claims to not have heard any complaints about them. So, if you're reading this after being burned like I am- let Wayfair know! Worst delivery company ever. Wayfair needs to discontinue their partnership with them. I am supposed to have a couch delivered and instead they brought someone else's double vanity order. They would not even bring it inside or provide me a package/delivery slip. They were almost two hours late. No call ahead of time. Wayfair tried to conference call them with me but they don't answer their phone. They haven't answered yesterday or all day today. The wrong item is still on the back patio where they left it and it is currently hailing/raining out and I can't even bring the item into the home where it can be dry because it is so heavy, something they should've done themselves as the delivery service. I was given a 4 hour delivery window which I re-arranged my day around. They called 2 hours after that window to let me know they'd be there in 10 minutes. They never came and I'm now having to re-arrange another day to accommodate their window. I wasted an entire workday waiting around for nothing. I finally had to get the company I ordered our entertainment center from involved to get it delivered. When it arrived, both end pieces were damaged. The very nice delivery man said it looked like someone had tilted them on their sides, causing identical breaks in the bottom side piece of trim. One also had water damage to the top. Who knows if this happened during their extended stay at Mountain Men, or somewhere earlier in the process. The company sent two replacement pieces out, and unfortunately, they used Mountain Men again. And again, MM automatically scheduled a day that didn't work for us without contacting us beforehand. So I skipped the back and forth, and let the company I ordered from deal with MM, even though customer service said it wasn't something they normally did. If you're stuck getting a delivery from these guys, I recommend calling the company you ordered from and having them deal with them. You'll save yourself a lot of grief and wasted time. The delivery men arrived within their scheduled window and with a 20 minute notification call as promised. They were a bit clueless, but essentially got the job done and assembled correctly. After they left, I had to vacuum up a lot of debris they left behind (I paid for white glove delivery and assembly), and several metal washers and screws got sucked up/stuck in my vacuum. Hmmm, hope the large entertainment center is secure without these 3 missing pieces they left on my carpet. When I went out front later in the day, I saw they had left three large (greater than 12") pieces of cardboard, Styrofoam and plastic wrap to blow across my yard. I truly hope to never have to deal with this company again. My experience was so bad I will hesitate to ever order a large item from the online company, just to avoid another MM delivery! read more

I purchased a loveseat on Wayfair on July 25th. When they emailed me the name of the delivery company that would be used I looked up their reviews and was dreading the experience. However my experience was nothing like the other reviewers' experiences. They were able to schedule the delivery earlier than expected, the delivery co. and Wayfair kept me informed of the delivery window via texts and emails, and they were prompt and courteous. I received my sofa on Aug. 3rd. The missing star is due to a slight puncture in the material, which I believe occurred in transit, since there was a dent in the box where the puncture was found. It's something I can live with for the price I paid for the couch. Had the puncture been in the seat or back cushions I would have had a bigger issue with it, since it would probably tear further with use. I wish they would have been able to unbox the sofa and take away the large cardboard box and other packaging it arrived in. That would have made it easier to inspect the sofa before they left. I don't think I would have wanted to wait for an exchange anyway. Ultimately it was a good experience. read more

We live 3 hours from downtown Denver and this company was hired to deliver a large item to us by a seller between 3/16 & 3/21. Denver had a snow storm on 3/23 and the item was scheduled to deliver by Mtn man on 3/24. They cancelled and claimed the snow delayed their delivery. The new delivery date is now 4/7 or 4/8. Why? They don't like to deliver to areas outside of Denver but every 2 weeks. The company doesn't give a shit about customers or order fulfillment. I wouldn't ship a bag of dog crap to an enemy via these guys. read more

TERRIBLE service! I ordered a couch from Joss & Main (Waifair) and unfortunately they use Mountain Men Delivery. They do not call to set up a delivery, they send an automated text or email 12 hours in advance of delivery, when most people are at work.Twice I waited at home for them to deliver and they didn't show up!!! They answered the phone once, after I told them my issue they told me to wait on hold and sent me to voicemail! Since then I have called 10 times, they do not answer. I ordered a piece of furniture from an online company (Allmodern) who uses Mountain Men Delivery as their local delivery company in Denver. After Mountain Men had received my piece from the company, they scheduled FIVE different delivery windows over the course of the month. I took off work each time to wait for them. FIVE TIMES they never showed up, and for four of those times they *didn't even bother to call.* The one time they did call (the fourth time), they admitted that they had lost the furniture. And then they still had the gall to schedule another delivery (as if they had found it), but then not show up and not bother to call. I finally just asked the furniture company to refund my money. I received a failed delivery notice from AllModern last Monday (holiday Monday) from Saturday ...I had never been notified of a scheduled delivery from AllModern or from Mountain Men Delivery. I managed to get another delivery scheduled for today. I was to receive a delivery window and have not received one. This company does not list their hours on their website and they do not answer the phone or emails. The phone either goes straight to voicemail or puts you on hold for 5 minutes until they send you to voicemail. I sit here waiting on a couch with no guarantee it going to come. I had read all the reviews and was quite nervous about my delivery. However, I had a wonderful experience. Mountain Men Delivery called and actually wanted to deliver my furniture earlier than expected. I was not able to accept the early delivery so I rescheduled for a convenient time. Mountain Men Delivery was very accommodating. The called 2 days before the delivery to confirm, the driver called while on his way, they came within the allotted window, and Brandon and Brian were careful and professional. My experience with mountain men delivery was very easy. The dispatcher called a day in advance to let me know about my scheduling window for the following Monday. The driver called 10 minutes before the start of the window and said they were on their way. Paul and Shawn were very professional and came right up and shook my hand. They brought the large box into my entryway and opened it up so I could inspect the sofa bed inside. Everything was perfect, and they even took the box away with them. I am happy to say I didn't have any of the experiences that the other reviewers did. My purchase came from The Classy Home. I did order the sofa bed in mid-May and the estimated delivery was the last week in June and it was delivered on July 3. I wasn't in a rush so this timeline was fine for me. Mountain Men is 0/4 for delivering to us for Wayfair. Unfortunately, Wayfair will lose money from both losing customers as well as having to replace purchases damaged by Mountain Men. First purchase, delivered damaged, Wayfair replaced. Seconds purchase, delivered to a house 30min away. The people at that house ended up delivering our order to us (missing a piece). Wayfair tried to replace the piece, but Mountain Men lost the order. Third purchase, delivery was damaged, Wayfair fully replaced. We are now on our 4th purchase and no surprise, 2 out of the 4 pieces came damaged. Wayfair is now replacing the pieces. Time frames we have gotten from Mountain Men have sometimes been in the past and have also been set for the middle of the night. If you live in Northeast Denver, Colorado, I would recommend ordering from Overstock if you don't want to deal with the hassle or returning/replacing products and working with customer service for a few weeks. read more

Well my wife received a call from Mountain Men Delivery on the 18th of September 2017, letting her know that her cabinet would be delivered on the 19th of September. My wife asked the woman calling from the delivery service if the people making the delivery would be honoring the "White Glove Service", The woman on the phone from Mountain Men Delivery said, yes the "White Glove Service" is included with the delivery. On September 19th at 2:55 PM a Budget Rental Truck pulled up in front of my home and a delivery man came up to the front door. After he was invited in, he was informed where the cabinet was going. The delivery man then stated that "We don't assembly single box items" I told him that my wife had been assured that the "White Glove Service" would be included with this delivery. The delivery man's response was "That woman doesn't know what she is talking about" I spoke with my wife and she elected to go ahead and accept the cabinet and we would talk with Mountain Men Delivery and Company A about what had transpired with the delivery of the cabinet. UPDATE: Spoke to a representative from Mountain Men Delivery. It wasn't their fault for what happened when my wife's cabinet was delivered. It was the fault of the sub contractor they hired to make the delivery for them, and as for the person who assured my wife that the "White Glove Service" that my wife had paid for would take place, well Mountain Men Delivery fired her. Then when pointing out that sub contractor or not when a complaint or bad review is posted to the BBB it reflects badly on their company, the person was done talking and stated "I am going to hang up the phone now" I bet all the employees' have brown eyes at this company. read more

I ordered a very large rug that was scheduled for delivery on Saturday, 12/17. I waited around the entire delivery window, but they never showed. Mountain Men Delivery subsequently missed two more delivery windows, for a total if about 15 hours that I had to be at home. The rug finally arrived, on the following Tuesday. However, I continued to get automated delivery emails and calls stating that the rug was going to be delivered. (It had already been delivered!!!) During the confusion of trying to get the rug delivered, I spoke with 3 different employees at Mountain Men Delivery, asking that they follow up with me and call me back. I left a message for owner as well. NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK! And...to top it all off, the rug arrived cut and dirty! I informed Wayfair about this, and they are taking care of me. After looking up Mountain Men Delivery and reading the poor reviews, I was pretty stressed that I wouldn't receive my bed frame in time, unbroken, or at all. BUT- I'm here to write a great review because they deserve it. My shipping information indicated that I would receive my bed on or before June 28th and I received it today, the 27th. MMD called the day before to set up a delivery window and again today about a half hour before delivery (which was inside of the specified delivery window). My experience with this company was the worst I've had with the moving company. I ordered a couch on Wayfair and waited 5 weeks for delivery On September 29th I got a call that my couch will be delivered on 4 October between 8 and 12 PM. The day before delivery I was told the couch would be delivered between 4 and 7 PM,at approximately 8 PM I got a call from the delivery driver saying they would be there at 9:15 due to mechanical issues on their truck.they never showed up at all that night! The next morning I called the company they put me on hold for 10 minutes and came back on the line and stated the delivery people said they came to my door called me and knocked on the door and nobody answered I informed the lady on the phone that no one came to the door I received no phone call or a text and that her delivery driver was plan lying. After dealing with Wayfair for one week I am supposed to be getting my couch on October 24, in the meantime I have sold all my old living room furniture waiting for my delivery. Was scheduled for a 2:00 pm delivery, driver showed up at 12:00 pm (2 hours early with no notice), when we wouldn't drop what we were doing and immediately return home (we had re-scheduled our day around the delivery and were about 45 minutes away), the driver decided not to deliver, we called the driver and left several messages but he wouldn't answer nor return the messages, the driver claimed that he came by later (we have electronic records that say otherwise), and Mountain Men merely said it was our word against his.... Mountain Men would not re-schedule until 4 days later, promised to call an hour before the delivery, no call and were 45 minutes after the 4 hour window..... we were the LAST delivery that day... their mistake and we paid for it!!! NO APOLOGY for the inconvenience.... NONE!!!!! When our phone number was registered in the Mountain Men system (after our initial call), they would not pick up nor return messages. Had to get the company from whom we ordered involved.... have spent 11+ hours either waiting or on the phone to fix the Mountain Men MESS.... We ordered an electric fireplace and it was supposed to be delivered by this company. They scheduled a Saturday, 6/24 delivery date and no one ever showed up, not even a phone call. So I called them back on Monday, 6/26 and they scheduled another date with us today on Tuesday 6/27. They even had me confirm on their website with a window of 3-7 pm. I actually called this morning just to ensure everything was good to go, and the somewhat rude older woman on the phone ensured it would be delivered and it was already on the truck. It is currently 7:21 pm and there is no sign of a delivery. They don't even answer their phone! Horrible service. Now my renovations will be delayed another week! read more

Absolute worst company ever. I've never left a review but this company has left me very upset. I currently have someone else package sitting in my foyer (which happens to be a large dresser wardrobe with glass doors, very large and obstructing of the walk way and frankly probably quite expensive) I spoke with the delivery man as he was dropping of the package and confirmed my name and that my package was a five piece sectional! Absolutely awful. Scheduling a delivery was a nightmare. No one answers the phone or calls you back. Then the say they will give you an hour notice, both times was less than 20 minutes notice. Then even though my confirmation from the supplier of the furniture states the movers have to move the items inside and open the boxes for inspection they refused to open the boxes and left all our furniture on the driveway. I received an order in May 2017. However when they delivered the patio furniture they smashed in my front porch light. I tried contacting them for 4 months before they responded. In September 2017 I was contacted by one of their employees who stated he was working on the replacement. They sent their Operations Manager up from Denver in a truck to delivery the furniture that was missing from the original order. Inconvenient delivery times and insecure delivery of valuable items. Poor communication with buyers. My experience with mountain med delivery was using them as the end stage delivery for furniture ordered on a website store. The website communicated I would get an email when to expect the package and that I would need to be there to sign for it. Mountain men sent an email only the day before giving us a 4 hour window on a Wednesday... meaning we had to make arrangements to be off work to sit at home for 4 hours! We received an automatic phone call saying the package would arrive in approximately 10 minutes. An hour later I called their office asking about the package. Their office lady was polite but said it had already been delivered. We looked and sure enough, there was nothing outside our whole house. Going back and forth with her that it had NOT been delivered, we walked around the neighborhood and found our box sitting on a neighbors porch a few houses down. We had to drag the package to our house (looking like thieves to onlookers), meanwhile they had dropped it off without the signature which we had been told we need to give- meaning we didn't have to give up a day of work AND anyone could have gotten our package! When we finally get through to a person (6 calls and four voicemails later), we were told the delivery drivers attempted to deliver and no one was home- a lie. They also said they tried to call- also a lie. The manager eventually admitted the drivers had lied since the truck was never even in our area. We were then told the truck could not deliver again for 4 days but the manager then agreed to have it on a truck in two days. I called that day and confirmed it would be to us and was assured it would and delivery was set between 1-5 pm. Again- no call and no show. Now still waiting for a callback from the company. I oreded a couch thru Wayfair and they subcontracted Mountain Men Delivery for there delivery of my couch. The two men that delivered my couch, the one gentleman wa very old man & other younger gentleman. They where getting the couch outta the delivery truck and the older man was walking backwards down the ramp younger man walking forwards down the ramp, well either of them could barely carry the cpuch and as the where going down the ramp, the older gentleman lost control of the couch fell backwards into my Audi car the couch dented my rear end of my car and the gentleman body weight with the couch falling down broke my bumper on my car, so I'm on my upper deck watching this, I didn't think he did anything, I couldn't understand what they were yelling about, so they proceed to walk around my car caring the couch to my decks dropping it 10 times trying to carry it up to my top deck, damaged my newly painted decks, then coming up to my upper deck, they had to go thru a door, they decided to carry the couch vertically??? Why I have no clue, I'm trying to tell them to carry horizontally like they had, well they ram the couch thru my tree full of decorative lights braking them on me as I'm telling them hey hey, they couldn't understand me, so they drop it few more time, well they finally get thru to my door step the older gentleman drops the couch without telling the younger gentleman, he falls backwards drops the couch into my gutters and damaging my entry way scrapping paint off my house in many spots, older man yells at the younger man, I'm like omg!!! I ask the gentleman if he's ok, doesn't say anything, they figure it out and finally get it in my house, they set it down, gentleman hands me a tablet in Spanish, I have no clue what it says, I'm assuming it says ok delivery was made, so I sign it, they leave I hurry up unwrapped the couch to check for damages, thank god the couch was wrapped in hard card board and bubble wrap, no damage only a little dirt spot on a pillow. So I call warfare let them know, I've been waiting two weeks for this to be taken care of because Mountain Men Delivery call center has been cooperative, but the owner, tried to make wait on being paid because she didn't want to go thru her insurance, because she didn't want it to go up on her, she wanted to make a deal with me, to pay me cash in two installments, so I call the delivery center tell the management what the owner was trying to do, and he was like this is unbelievable. So I get a call from there insurance lady, try telling her this same story, how the man spoke no English, she trying to say I'm being racist, because I said they don't speak English...i called my lawyer he laughed, So there suppost to pay me, by check, I'm still waiting. If this doesn't get taking care of my lawyer will have it taken care, I have done everything they adked me to, plus I've waited two weeks dealing with the run around.
