Didn't order all the materials in the agreement, didn't order 1/2 of the materials at all. Comes to me and tells me he doesn't have the money to order the missing materials or to finish the job after leading me to believe it was Lowes fault. In NC that is fraud. .... Stay away!

The deck is over 1500 square feet; Calvin, Joe & Mike worked diligently on every square inch to make it look great. They are very skilled and the attention to detail was fantastic. Communication with Calvin was above and beyond daily, whether text or in person. The team also showed up every day on time or early!!! Follow up on action items and outsanding questions? No way, my guy. This summer, our deprioritized deck project came back with a vengeance. So, I picked up where I left off, reading reviews and reaching out to contractors. Several failed to respond. One company told me I'd need to pay $150 for the privilege of simply getting a quote. Day One Renovations? A timely response and a promptly scheduled, in person consult. Jonathon and Ari were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Timely, proactive, and responsive. When we hired them, it seemed like a no brainer. Now that work is complete, I wish we had hired them sooner. Their attention to detail was tremendous and they left the worksite looking better than it did when they first arrived. Perhaps the biggest compliment of all?
